Little Critter books are always a hit. My students like to examine the pictures to find the spider and grasshopper on each page. In this story, Little Critter displays each of his pets and explains what they like to do. He owns a frog, a turtle, a fish, a dog, a cat, a bug, and a snake. Little Critter gets in trouble because he lets all of his pets take a bath and get into bed with him. His family does not like his pets as much as he does.

A great little picture book for ages 0-3 to listen to with the wonderful wording and the awesome illustrations.

Little Critter shows the reader each of his pets and tells about them. This is a great book for beginning readers and practicing reading sight words in sentences. There is enough repetition but not too much, and the illustrations can assist young readers in feeling successful
