A Date in History was a clever concept with a suspenseful storyline. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I loved how Robin was able to intertwine history, romance, and science fiction. Definitely worth reading!!

I finished Robin's book last night and I loved it! I can't wait until the sequel. It is a great mix of historical romance and science fiction. Robin did a fantastic job of transporting you to places and times throughout history while keeping the characters interesting. A must read!!!

This was an average read with nothing that really made the story stand out. The author may know her history, but she could sure use a few lessons in grammar and sentence structure. Ms. Silverglate switched back and forth between past and present tense, often in the same paragraph and sometimes even in the same sentence! There were also frequent instances of using the wrong spellings for words, i.e., here for hear, etc., an inconsistent and often incorrect use of punctuation, and incomplete sentences galore. As another reviewer stated, I read the entire book because I paid for it, but then I immediately deleted it from my Kindle.

Romance I had a hard time getting emotionally involved with this story. The story is told in third person, with the perspective bouncing back and forth between the two main characters with every new paragraph. That really threw me. It's definitely an interesting idea for a story, but for me the manner in which it is told doesn't meet its potential.

Well thought out and descriptive. Enjoyed the read AND learned a lot! I'm hoping for the next 2/3 of a trilogy. :)
