Great book that goes through all of the different ways to pray. For each method, the history is explored as well as modern day practice, and how-to guides if you want to try it yourself.

I loved the information in the book and the clear and helpful way it was presented. But...the book was very wordy. I felt like I had to wade my way through the text.

I will be looking for a copy to purchase to keep on my bookshelf as a reference

This is a great resource for individual or group study. I especially liked the diverse prayer traditions that were explored by the author.
I read this while participating in an online retreat by the author.

Highly recommended.
