First off, I can hardly be considered a NASCAR fan, I can hardly be considered a Race Car fan. My only connection is while living in Indianapolis I spent several afternoons in the infield (Snake Pit) of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway due to my job. I also spent one day at the actual race due to the hospitality of the Ford Motor Company. I have also toured the Daytona Motor Speedway when I retired to Florida. I picked up this book because I collect autographed books that I can buy cheap. I must admit that I was totally taken with the lifestyle and history of the NASCAR drivers, especially Kyle Petty.
The book is a tribute to him, his family, and NASCAR. The book is geared( car terminology) to the Racing fan and would be of more interest to that individual rather than someone like me. However I. Also must admit that I did enjoy the book and would recommend it to a Race Car fan.
