This book would be excellent for youth to read. It brings out things they may not have thought of, emphasizing the faith of the Book of Mormon leaders, focusing on military leaders. From my perspective, it seemed a little redundant, spelling things out at a little slower pace than I'd like. It did, however, point out some ideas I had not considered before. For those less familiar with the Book of Mormon, it would give new insight to the courage and level of faith it would have required to be the kind of righteous leaders that Bell discusses. He is thorough in his coverage. This would be a good resource book.

This book re-enforces all the stories and lessons learned in the Book of Mormon - manly from the war chapters, and from the perspective of a soldier. As a mother of boys, I found this book to be particularly insightful as my boys see soldiers as heroes and worthy of emulation.
