Canyou write a whole book about one single colour? Isn't a colour just a colour? Yes, and no. The colour pink is probably the most loaded colour in our culture, in many different ways. What I've learned from this book is that pink is not a colour you just simply wear or don't wear; it symbolises so many different things, from the most delightful and enjoyable in life, to something abominable, childish, and plain gay. Everyone from small children to the parents of small children have reasons why they like, or don't like, pink. The most interesting chapter in the book is about grown men who choose to wear pink, what it states and stands for.
Other chapters in the book are interesting, but also it's stuff I feel that I already knew to some degree. The language in the book is at times very academic and science-ish which makes the book feel kind of heavy to read even though it's very short. But its definitely worth a reading!
