Allison Ryder is not having her best day. Thanks to the Texas weather, the placement of a seemingly insignificant flyer on the windshield of her car has opened up a big ol' can of worms. First, there's the near miss with a dreamy brown-eyed man (Did we mention his not-so-charming attitude?). Then there is the overzealous new neighbor (a big wet dog who wants to play with Al in the rain). Then there is her dear and meddlesome best friend who wants everyone to be happy (her parents should have named her Cupid). All in all, things can't get any worse!
Will Hoyt can't believe he's lost his dog. He wonders how he'll ever be able to care for his niece if he can't keep a pooch in hand. The flyers seemed like a good idea, until it rained, and the crazy lady in town tried to run over him. It's taken some time to fall into a place where he could care for his late sister's teenage daughter (What was he thinking? She's a teenage girl!) The good news is that the dog has been found...but by the crazy lady. Things could be worse!
Even the rain can't smother the sparks that fly between Will and Allison, so is it any wonder that their relationship will have to face off against chaos? (Did we mention the marriage?) But of course love is not all peaches and cream when Will faces the possibility of losing everything he holds dear.

I'm sorry I didn't get back sooner! I've been with out the internet for a couple months! It was awful! I got the book the beganning of march and it was a great surprise! I loved it! you never knew what was going to happen next! Plus if you love animals you'll love this book!I never owned a ferret but the one in the book sounds cute! My dogs might have a problem they get jealous. thanks Mandie!
I really enjoyed Lost and Found by Karen L. Syed! It was totally endearing and even though the characters had their ups and downs, their love prevailed...but who wants a romance that's smooth sailing all the way? There just has to be more to it and in Lost and Found, there most certainly is. I've already found more books by Ms. Syed I'm putting on my To Be Read list. I'll be back to let you know what I think. Keep 'em coming, Karen!
I received this book through the Goodreads first reads contest. I really enjoyed this book. It is a fun romance novel with spunky characters I could relate to. I thought the plot was heartwarming and I liked the way the book ended. If you are looking for a fun and flirty read with some steamy romance look no further, this book fits the bill.
I only made it 17% through this one. By then I'd happened across enough mistakes and repetition to see me through, thanks. Words missed out and me replaced meet and lie replaced laid !! The lead girl kept on saying "oh my" till I wanted to slap her and only this far in she'd fallen over a couple of times and so had the lead guy. That was enough for me.
This was a charming story of a man and woman finding love and making a home for the hero's niece overcoming the loss of her parents. Plus, it had a loveable puppy and some good humor.
Enjoyed this book immensely! It was a light and humorous read. Found myself laughing in a couple of scenes.. Loved Allison's personality and strong character. I couldn't put this book down.
