This clever book is really more about visiting than it is about dinosaurs. Martin uses a rhymed verse and dinosaur characters to remind readers what good behaviors are before, during and after a journey to visit with others. Lots of good reminders about good manners and things to do to be a good visitor and guest.

Curious if the mixed species families was intentional or they just illustrated them as different dinosaurs for variety.

This is a story that tells of a family of dinosaurs that go visiting the rest of their family for a special occasion. They get read in their best and help oine another out as a family to be on their way looking their best. They eat politely and use their manners.
