I agree with the book's stated conclusion - that the capitalistic 'market' has invaded all areas of life, far beyond economics, and changed the perceptions of everyone until our ability to imagine any alternatives has dwindled and most of what has true worth has been corrupted. However the same information could have been conveyed in an essay. The author's other goal, to demonstrate that the greens are best equipped to offer solutions, was not achieved - he seems to assume that if capitalism is so destructive, the greens rather than, say, the socialists, have the remedy, but he never really attempts to explain why this is so.
