These daring dinosaurs have conquered land and sea-now they're ready for the sky!
But to get airborne, they need a plan. They dinoblow. They run, push, leap, flap-and take flight! The sky becomes their stage, as they join an air show. Zipping and zooming and dancing on wings, the dinos are soon upside down and dinosick! They decide to bail, hoping their dinochutes will work. They dino-do!
In this exuberant follow up to Dinosailors and All Aboard the Dinotrain, the rollicking rhymes and paintings of reckless reptiles are dinofabulous.

This story is an imaginative journey blending two popular children's topics of dinosaurs and airplanes with a creative use of beautiful illustration. Kids will love the use of rhyming on top of a hilarious narration of heavy dinosaurs barely getting their weight off the ground before finding an air show and performing tricks for the masses. The chaos of a near-crash ends with the dinosaurs parachuting down and kissing the ground, promising never to do that again only to find themselves on the side of the road waiting for a ride...
I like this book because it's a song and book, so you should check it out. In case your kid says they wanna buy it, you can buy it. And you can also buy the whole set: one's about trains, one's about boats, and this one's about planes, as you can see on the cover. And it does say Dinosoaring and the cover will definitely show it.
The artwork....wow just blown away. I love the technique Howard used and the crazy angles he portrayed. The story was fun and wholesome. Hope there will be more someday. I especially love how the end of each moves on to a new adventure.
I enjoyed the pictures in this book. But I found it highly improbable that a place that weighed down by dinosaurs would be able to take off. Also, why did they just jump out of the plane? What happened to the plane?
This is a lot of puns. Like a lot. I love puns and even I found it a bit much. Plus, they use the name of the book in the book, but not in a clever way.
My son is obsessed with this rhyming book about flying dinosaurs. We've read it pretty much every other day for two weeks now. The book, another in the series of dinosaur adventures, is about nine dinosaurs who all manage to squeeze into what I think is a C-130 Hercules (the biggest transport plane there is). They can't seem to get it off the ground, but after a few tries, manage to do so. They are in the air when they see that an Air Show is going on, so they start doing tricks like hanging from a trapeeze and dancing on the wings. Everything is great until the plane goes into a spin and the dinosaurs must parachute to safety. They vow never to be so reckless again, and try out tame things like sports, reading and cooking. That is until they find something new to do. Recommended for ages 2-6, 4 stars.
This is a fun colorful read. The story makes your imagination soar. The author combines teamwork and a rhythmic pattern to get these colorful dinosaurs in the air. The book could be used as a springboard for questions about dinosaurs and their relationship to birds. The end also leaves you thinking about what happened to the dinosaurs and what happened next. This is a delightful book that could be used for enjoyment as well as a discussion starter.
Dinosaurs + airplanes = a winner. The Dinocrew has a hard time getting their huge airplane to lift off and they don't quite fit, but they persevere and even end up in an air show. Lund's realistic (well, sort of) illustrations of huge dinosaurs in scarves and goggles up the silly factor. Preschool-Gr 1.
This time the dinosaurs (happy participants in All Aboard the Dinotrain and Dinosailing) take their adventuresome spirit to the air. Though at first getting off the ground proves more difficult than they thought, the dinosaurs to achieve flight and experience the joys of "slipping the surly bonds of earth."
This book is awesome! Dino-this and dino-that, from the ground to the air and back again. Every page is full of absolutely ridiculous fun. posted: http://creativemadnessmama.com/blog/2...#
The illustrations were great, I love the artsy feel. The story is cute and seems to hold the attention span of little ones looking for a quick read. So glad to add this book to our collection!
Fun colorful read aloud book about dinosaurs that wish to take flight. How can a dozen dinosaurs fit into a plane and have it actually lift the ground they? They have to get creative!
