Dr Spock’s Baby Basics is segmented to 4 chapters which are sleeping, feeding, comforting and hygiene. In these chapters, the author shares sensible advice on how to raise mentally, emotionally and physically healthy children. He includes his years of experience as a paediatrician as well as his research knowledge as a team expert with The Dr Spock Company to write this book. He divulges down-to-earth advice with readers about sleeping habits, potty training, choosing between breastfeeding and bottle feeding and how to bathe an infant amongst other tips on day-to-day infant care.

Dr. Spock's Baby Basics by R. Needleman

This was a useful, traditional, fairly comprehensive guide to the newborn, infant and toddler years. Even for a reader with very specific ideas surrounding sleep, nutrition or toilet teaching, this book can be useful.
