This is a good reference for anyone who wants to burn on something other than wood. Pyrography is an art that is primarily worked on some type of wood such as birch, basswood or poplar. Lora Irish gives instructions on burning paper, leather, cloth and gourds. It's a great addition to your library especially if you think you might want to try these alternatives to wood in the future.
