Why Jesus Appears to People Today: A Biblical Understanding

Rate this book
Seeing is believing… Do you question whether Jesus truly appears to people today? Do you long to see Him for yourself? Why Jesus Appears to People is an intimate, modern-day account of the author’s personal experiences seeing Jesus. It is also an introduction into a lifestyle that positions you for the same encounters. But Jesus came and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.”When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only (Matthew 17:7-8). Being saturated in the Word of God is a gateway into supernatural visitations with Jesus, both in Heaven and on earth—in dreams and in visions. To see Jesus is to be transformed. Why Jesus Appears to People positions you for living a supernaturally transformed life. Also discussed are the traps of satan to fool people—but there are ways you can discern his tactics. And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last” (Revelation 1:17). You will be strongly inspired and encouraged knowing that Jesus has not changed. He greatly desires to appear to people today—to enhance and bring love and peace into their lives, your life.

I found some truth here, but not all. I was again reminded of the power of the scriptures and the value of making them a daily priority. As a result, I improved in that area which is worth some stars. I found truth in the caution about choosing entertainment carefully, it can definitely increase or decrease our access to the spirit and all things holy. I found truth in the caution to be discerning between good and evil spirits and experiences. I was saddened that the author used the end of the book to misapply those truths. He did not apply the truths he teaches in this book to Joseph Smith and his experiences. There was no fear in Joseph's vision. The angel Moroni taught and confirmed scripture found in the Bible, and all Glory went to God, thus fulfilling the three criteria set forth by the author. Mr. Bond misrepresents Joseph and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with regard to the Bible, which is a very highly regarded book of scripture. The only argument is with faults in translation over the centuries and truths removed. I hope Mr. Bond will take another look at Joseph with an open heart and apply his own criteria to Joseph's experiences. I have done so, and I know him to be a prophet who restored the fullness of the gospel of Christ to the earth. We now live in the dispensation of the fullness of times, not the dispensation of the New Testament. There is a prophet on the earth today and revelation continues just as it did in ancient times.

This has encouraged me to pursue God in a more intimate way, to read His Word and to memorize more Scriptures. He loves each one so much and we need to do the same with those that we come in contact with. There is a lot at stake when we ignore the leading of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We need to want to see Jesus more in our lives so that we can be part of the change that we desperately need in our world. I really would like to say one day "I have seen Jesus". Will be rereading this book again. Thank you Mel for writing this book since we would not be hearing this from the pulpit.

Falsehoods about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

If you're going to include something about Mormons, stick to the truth. It was Jesus that told Joseph Smith the things that were attributed to Moroni. Also the church certainly studies the Bible as the word of God. I find the author guilty of using Satan to tell falsehoods about something he knows nothing about. As a professor of religion. Mel Bond is showing truth to the words from Jesus that the professors are all corrupt.

Supernatural events still happened

This book available right now for free on amazon kindle

The content was an argumentation why Jesus need to appear in this world, but then the content was the author's personal experiences on supernatural events when Jesus appear personally to him.
Of course all of these things need to be tested, for the author also aware of this things and explained this I the end.

Five 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟stars because when you read it you will fully see why and where I'm coming from. There is a lot going on in the world not all of it it's bad here is a look at why we can have hope and strength to believe there is a much better way than what we are encouraged to think from the news and others fear., Or our own.

Why Jesus Appears to People Today…is an encouraging word from author Mel Bond. He shares from his own experiences of how his encounters with Jesus have played a part in shaping his life & ministry. With biblical references and teaching, he shows each of us that God’s desire is to commune with us when it is our hearts’ desire as well. As we spend more time in the word and with God intimately, He shares insights with us that we otherwise would be missing. I loved the teaching on becoming spiritually minded where he describes God’s word as a requirement in our spiritual life just as water is to our physical body.

This teaching was so simple and encouraging right from the first chapter ‘Why Jesus Appears to People, to the last chapter ‘Jesus Wants to Appear to You’. Each of the stories were incredible – we need to want to see Jesus more in order to see changes come to earth. Our challenge is to push into Jesus so we too can say ‘I have seen Jesus’.
