Jack Gordon is Ann Arbor's most delectable bachelor. He’s made millions as a top-selling real estate broker. His rugged good lucks and over-the-top personality helped him build a virtual black book most men would kill for. Having been burned once however, he’s sworn off anything resembling an emotional connection with any woman. But an undercurrent of dissatisfaction runs through his life. His frustration grows as he seeks something even he can’t quite put his finger on.

Thanks to a life of discipline and focused routine, Sara Thornton has fast-tracked herself to the top of the Ann Arbor real estate market. As her career skyrockets, the fulfillment she seeks remains out of reach. One thing she knows for sure: she will never join the Jack Gordon groupies in her company, no matter how tempting it might be.

A chance encounter, then a difficult transaction, throw Jack and Sara into temptingly close contact. After their first, smoking hot hook-up, he decides she could be the elusive happiness he’s seeking. Right about the time she decides to avoid him like the plague. But fate keeps forcing them together, so Jack decides to make The Big Gesture.

I did like this one but I see there is another one in the pipeline. Why not leave them with their HEA. I think it was Rosalinda who said if they have their HEA, she will not read a follow-up. Not going to bother I think.

Instead of reading Floor Time, I decided to listen to it on audible. The narrator was good. It wasn't a bad book- but it wasn't great for me either. Just one of those 'okay' reads. This is part of a three book series, but in my opinion, it could have ended nicely at the end of this book with a sweet epilogue. I didn't dislike the heroine or hero (even though he made some dumb ass choices), but I just didn't feel that connection to the characters or the story.

The book was awful.I wasted hours on this book for nothing.I should have stopped at page 40 when I realized it was boring.I felt the author made circles.Jack and Sara could have a solid relationship long before they did.And when I finished it I saw an expect from the second book. And the main characters are Jack and Sara again. Pretty much everything happened in this one. Almost rapes, misunderstandings, client stealing, heartache and much more that made me say no more.
Though I will consider someday to read the next books.

Edit 2.

The day has yet to come and it has been 2 years. Not seeing it happening

Everything about this book was a unique and interesting experience for me. For one, I’ve never read a story about real estate. And two, the hero is a piece of work and a bit of a jerk for most of the book. Normally, those types of males do not appeal to me, but in this case Jack wore me down and I ultimately caved to his charm, and by the end of the book I truly felt he did love Sara but just had some growing up to do to learn how to deal with his feelings. And third, I’ve never read a book with a happy for now ending and not a happy ever after one. Are any of these factors bad? Heck no. In fact, I positively enjoyed this book, especially the characters, which were appealing and well-developed--and the writing which impressed me from the first page.

I loved Sara’s character. She was determined, strong, successful, uninhibited, and very likable. I don’t think there was anyone in her office who didn’t like her, some were jealous but that was understandable. She had the hottest guy on the planet after her. And, I loved her attitude - she was as cool as a cucumber, almost too cool at times. I even felt myself wanting to nudge or strongly urge her to go to him when they would have a misunderstanding, but unlike me, “the caver”, she stood her ground, which is probably why Jack was so in love with her.

And then, there’s Jack……where do I begin with this complex man? The best way I know to describe him is PRESENCE. He commands it just by walking into a room. He gets all the great deals and the women. But, these men who seem to have it all….don’t, and he’s no exception. He’s missing something in his life. He has the looks, clothes, all the material possessions money can buy, respect and success, so what could possibly be missing? Yep, you guessed it. LOVE!

I think Jack and Sara have the potential to be a super couple. They have explosive chemistry and they’re sex is off the charts hot. However, I did want more of the BDSM in their relationship. It was obvious Sara wanted it too, but he was never fully able to let go and be his true self because of something that happened in his past. I hope the BDSM aspect is explored more in the next book.

I felt there was a great deal of emotion in this book and when I finished it, I wanted to immediately start the next one in the series. Liz Crowe was a new author to me and I would definitely read other books by her. Her style flows which makes for a great, easy read with really hot sex.

Enjoy Everyone!

In Floor Time we have the foundation of the relationship between Jack and Sara, we learn about who they are and what made them that way We learn that Jack is pretty much a man whore and Sara is more concerned about building her career than relationships. Sounds like a volatile coupling and is sure is, the chemistry and the sparks fly.
We also meet the other characters that will play an important roll in the relationship as well, from the new Realtor who looks like a surf god to Sara's brother and his lover the people in Jack and Sara's life sure take tempestuous situations and just makes them worse.
Liz Crowe writes "romance for real life" in her books people are messed up and nothing just magically fixes that, you get to see the struggle and the hard work that her characters go through to fix themselves and to fix their relationships. Ms Crowe also has very realistic depictions of the steamy hot moments between the lovers in her books and all of that combined makes for fantastic reading that reaches in and grabs your heart (and your hormones) and takes them captive on a wild roller coaster ride of lust, love, deception, redemption and I need a cold shower moments.
These are books that you finish in one sitting because you can't put it down. It is a series that as soon as you finish one you want the other sitting right there so you know what happens next.

To say that I was completely & totally thrilled to get my hands on a copy of this book would be an understatement. Over the past few weeks, I have devoured everything that Liz has written and loved every bit of it. Floor Time is no exception to that and in fact, is my favorite book to date! Liz does a phenomenal job of combining exceptionally written characters with such authentic & real story lines, that you can’t help but get sucked in!

Floor Time introduces us to Jack Gordon (oh, how I love this character) & Sarah Thornton, both of whom are realtors working for the same company. When their paths cross, the spark between them is electric and tangible, and what follows is a story of the road two people travel down while trying to create a relationship where the attraction is the easiest part. It’s not always sunshine & roses and their journey is tough, but what relationship isn’t. You have to work to maintain the love that the instant connection brings - Liz does an amazing job of capturing the realness of that which is one of the reasons I enjoyed the story so much!

Jack’s character is just scrumptious! He is the quintessential dominant alpha male not looking for love, or so he thinks. His past haunts him and his relationships with women. The one time that he gave his heart over to love, he had it crushed. He swore that he would never allow himself to be that vulnerable again. If he doesn’t feel anything, then he can’t be hurt. This makes for a very lonely life for him and he wants to change, he just hasn’t met the right person. He needs to dominate and finding that person proves harder than he imagined.

Sarah is fierce! I love her independence & wit. However, she is not without issues. She doesn’t trust nor does she allow herself to be close to anyone. Her independence & need to succeed are so strong that it is almost a detriment. Only when she starts seeing Jack and submitting to him, does she see that it gives her the ultimate power, its the ultimate eye-opening experience. It is not without struggle though, and I still don’t think she truly believes that it is right. Her independence is so ingrained that she can’t see past it.

I won’t say their story is magical, because for me that places a Disney-esque factor to it and that is just NOT this story. What is it then - it’s raw, emotional, strong, confusing (to them at least), heart-wrenching and completely FANTASTIC! Their love & sex burn the pages and make me want that fabulous ending, since their road has been so tough ;) I have to know the rest of their journey and what the future holds for them.

I'm not completely sure how I came across this book... I know it was on Goodreads, but I can't remember exactly where I saw in since none of the people I am friends with have read it. Anyhow, I read other reader's reviews about the book before I bought it & some compare it to Fifty Shades of Grey. I have only read book 1, so I can't speak with a completely educated tongue as to my feelings about that comparison; however, I will say that so far, I do not see how they compare except for the BDSM & hot sex scenes. Fifty Shades is much more emotional & complicated than what I've read in this series so far. I mean, we're dealing with an egocentric, womanizing, narcissistic jerk who freaks out at the first sign of an emotional connection with a woman. That is a typical guy thing, so not that complicated at all. I'm sure all of us women have been at the receiving end of crap these type of men dish out at one point or another. So my point is that we see this type of stuff everyday. Don't get me wrong, I loved the first book & will definitely read the next one... I couldn't put it down. I would really give it 4.5 stars if I could since I gave Fifty a 5. This is definitely a book that I would recommend if you're looking for something along a similar line to Fifty Shades.

There was a lot of steamy scenes in this book....but I just could not connect with the characters. Maybe because I was thinking of a different "Jack" while reading. ;) Also, I pretty much couldn't stand Sara. ACT LIKE AN ADULT--SAY NO FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD! Do you really think Jack is going to change his womanizing ways?! You are a smart woman. So, no I do not feel sorry for you when Jack breaks your heart for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th time. UGH! MAKE UP YOUR MIND ALREADY. Sheesh

I hate giving 1-2 stars but I really didn't care if Sara and Jack worked out or didn't...then the ending sealed the deal for me. ugh...really?! C'mon man. Now, I really hate Jack.

Anyway--everybody isn't always going to love the book they are reading. I just hate I couldn't connect with the characters because once I read the synopsis I knew it was something I had to read.

The first book in what I'm starting to see is a very popular series among fans, Floor Time by Liz Crowe promises a real love story, complete with conflict, erotic love scenes and a true to life "ending." It's not the first time a book has promised to deliver on a certain level, sometimes they do deliver, but for the most part, they don't deliver on all the promised aspects.

Not to fear readers, Floor Time DOES deliver on its promises. This is only the second book by Liz Crowe that I've read but already I have found that they reach me on an emotional level. I can truly connect, not just identify with the characters in her books.

Jack isn't what you would call typical hero material. To be blunt, he's a man whore. A handsome, intelligent, successful businessman but a man whore none the less. In other words, he's like most males in the world and there's nothing wrong with that because in the real world, no one is sitting around waiting for "Mr or Miss Perfect." My above description may give off the impression that I didn't like Jack. Not so, it was quite the opposite. I loved Jack. Why? Because he NEVER pretended to be anything but what he was. He never lied about his reputation, never led women on in order to get them into bed. He was straight forward that he only wanted sex from them. That's part of what I liked, what made Jack unique to me and kept him from looking like a cad in my eyes.

Sure Jack can and is a jerk at times but we're not looking for perfection here people, we're looking for realism. Jack's not invulnerable to women though. He has an almost immediate connection with Sara even if he doesn't realize it. She messes with his reputation as a womanizer and that was fun to watch. Even the baddest bad boys have weaknesses.

Sara reacts to Jack the way most of us would HOPE to react if a handsome, millionaire playboy started pursuing us. Cool and collected on the outside, an emotional and hormonal wreck on the inside. She's good at her job and doesn't allow much to stand in her way. She's feisty and independent, almost to a fault. I loved that she wanted to have control of her life and when she didn't have that control, it made her nervous. Watching Sara struggle with letting someone else have control once in awhile really made Floor Time work for me. It really brought home the point that it's not always in our best interests to be in control of our lives, that it's okay with letting someone you trust take control. It's not an easy thing to do and Sara struggled with it the entire way.

The chemistry between Jack and Sara is off the charts from the beginning but then again, that's the easy part. It's trying to overcome not only their own pasts but each others' as well. Each was preconditioned to think a certain way and becoming involved with one another is basically screwing with that preconditioned thought process. That's what creates so many obstacles for these two but it also makes their relationship worth fighting for. It's what made me root for them from almost the first page. That hope that these two characters who have so many obstacles to overcome, can somehow make a relationship work.

There is a slight BDSM element to Floor Time but it doesn't deter from the real story. Which I greatly appreciated.

As an after thought, I looked around to see what other opinions people had about Floor Time and I came across one particular opinion a lot: That Floor Time is like Fifty Shades of Grey.

I have to strongly disagree there. Other than the slight BDSM in Floor Time, I didn't see anything remotely close to Fifty Shades. Jack and Sara are more fleshed out, more realistic and less fantasy than Christian and Ana. Sara is nowhere near as foolish, naive and weak as Ana.

I do highly recommend that both fans and non-fans of Fifty Shades pick up Floor Time just so that you can see the differences between the two. If you didn't like Fifty Shades of Grey then please pickup Floor Time so that you don't carry around the idea that all erotic romances are the same.

Floor Time is a passionate, emotional journey between two emotionally handicapped characters that will leave you breathless and eager for the next book in the series. Just like her character Jack Gordon, author Liz Crowe is straight forward. She doesn't sugar coat anything, she tells it like it is. The good, the bad, the ugly and the passionate parts of a relationship.

Add this book to your "To Read" lists, you won't be sorry.

Read more of my reviews and ramblings at Ana's Attic Sexy Tales and Toys

Floor Time, the first in the Stewart Realtors series came highly recommended. This erotic romance has a lot going for it, it is sexy, has light BDSM, romance, conflict, and a realistic story line. I also really enjoyed seeing the successful business woman as the sub. She isn't broken, she has no major past issues (nor does he, though he thinks he does) and they are both stubborn idiots! LOL

Jack is the Real Estate king of Ann Arbor. Everyone in the Stewart offices looks up to him. He is the consummate charmer and can attract the attention of a room (male and female) instantly. He is also the resident playboy. But Jack has a past. He was a Dom, and was dumped in a bad way by the last person he dominated and has put aside that part of himself. When he connects with Sara, a driven, hard working realtor in another office, sparks fly and Jack feels that Dominant side rear up again. Sara has never been submissive in any way, but Jack opens up a world to her that she knows she is meant for.

Both of them, Jack especially, kept pushing each other away, afraid of their feelings. Sara didn't want to be a notch on his bedpost, and Jack didn't want to be hurt again. But Sara has hot, long haired rocker Craig waiting to swoop on in. Jack plays it so "cool" that you just hate him sometimes, but then he pulls off something romantic and you can't dislike him anymore.

I must admit, I read this on a day filled with distractions. What I'm not sure of is if I was more easily distracted than usual. While I really enjoyed this book, something kept me from connecting completely. Maybe because I prefer first person to truly connect, maybe it's because Jack had a tendency to be a dick--I'm not quite sure what it was. I absolutely want to read more, and I hope that the next books are a continuation.

I get the feeling the love triangle will grow in future books, which I don't think I would like. Sara was a little too much of a tease to Craig, and I hope that doesn't continue. As cute and sweet as he is, I would like to read about him finding happiness with another woman.

The sex scenes were hot but there could have been more, and they could have been fleshed out a little more (fleshed-haha) but I am hoping they both let themselves go more in future books.

Likes:
-Realistic portrayal of a driven woman submitting for the first time
-Peeks into Sara's research on the submissive psyche
-2 hot men to choose from
-Real estate is a unique backdrop
-Hot BDSM (lite)
-A HFN (Happy For Now)
-That the story will continue

Dislikes:
-Had a little trouble connecting
-Jack was a little too full of himself and a dick sometimes
-Craig was too nice to be lead on so much
-The sex could have been even hotter and there were a few too many fade outs in the end.

Story: 4 Stars
Heat: 4 Hs

This actually felt like an introduction to a series. There is definitely more to read, the next books in the series are rated progressively higher and I, for one, am looking forward to it!

Floor Time is book one in the Stewart Realty series by Liz Crowe.

This first installment of the Stewart Realty series introduces us to Jack Gordon and Sara Thornton, both realtors in the premier Stewart Realty Agency. Jack is the golden boy of Stewart Realty, while Sara is a promising new addition to the Stewart family. Still reeling from a hook-up with a co-worker who she later finds out is engaged, Sara swears off relationships, especially with anyone she works with, and she’s determined to focus all of her attention on building her career. Unfortunately, the one co-worker she cannot seem avoid is Jack Gordon. The prickling electricity she feels whenever they’re in the same room is confusing to the point of distraction.

Thirty-five-year-old Jack Gordon is the epitome of a living, breathing alpha sex god. He oozes sex from every pore of his six-foot, four inch dark frame. With his bright blue eyes and stunning white smile, there is no shortage of women shamelessly throwing themselves at Jack’s feet. Sara, however, is not one of them, and she’s determined to keep it that way despite the undeniable gravitational pull that seems to suck her in every time their eyes meet.

Author Liz Crowe has created two of the most confusing characters I’ve read in a very long time. Yes, Jack can be charming, and there is no denying he’s sex in a suit, but he’s also a man-whore. I want to like him. Sometimes I think I do like him. I definitely don’t’ trust him… well, at least I don’t think I do, but I want to. He can be sweet and charming, and in the blink of his bright blue eyes, he becomes sharp tongued, and I want to smack him – or I want Sara to. He can be so self-absorbed and frustratingly cocky that – much like Sara – I found myself vacillating between loving him and being disgusted by him. Poor Sara. I felt sorry for her a little. It’s really hard to hold your resolve when the man is literally rocking your world, and there’s no doubt Jack takes Sara to the places fantasies are made of. The sex – because it’s definitely not “love making,” no, no way – is raw, and rough and full of lust for the sheer satisfaction of their physical attraction. Nothing more, but definitely nothing less.

Sara, on the other hand, is her own heart-shaped-box of confusion. There’s no doubt Jack can play her body like a finely crafted violin. But outside the bedroom, the two are oil and water. And then they’re a perfect blend of sweet and savory. And then they’re back to oil and water again. My feelings for them were so confused most of the time, I kept reading just hoping for some resolution for my poor, bewildered mind.

To even hint at whether I got my answers would be unfair. Misery loves company after all. Floor Time kept me up into the wee hours of the morning. There was no way my mind would rest until I had a resolution. Suffice to say, it was a good thing I already had Sweat Equity (book two) in my Kindle queue as the dreaded “The End” appeared. It’s been a long time since a story has had my mind in this much of a twist.

Floor Time earns four complicated stars.

Floor Time, Hot Time, Bed Time, More Time. What we have here is a very up and down relationship between a sexy, arrogant but somewhat tortured Alpha male, Jack and the extremely, beautiful, independent woman, Sara who gets under his skin in every which way. They are both in the real estate business and are very good at what they do with their clients as well as with each other!! The frustration one man can causeHer face flushed with anger, no longer aware of Jack as a desirable man, but as a client-stealing asshole.made me LOL.

Even though Jack frustrates Sara one cannot stay mad too longShe shook her head, looked up and there he was – all six foot, four inch, dark hair, blue eyes, sexy white smile, of him.yummy :0) As some time goes by and their personal relationship starts to progress neither one can deny the passion between them and so it begins. Two words to start this heated affairwall sex yep seems to be somewhat popular lately lol as Jack says to her “Don’t turn around,” he whispered. “Let me show you what happens next. Just leave it all to me.” Now would you say no? I think NOT! and then we have our cocky but honest moment with Jack “Um, babe, tuck in your shirt in the back,” Jack whispered. “You look like you just got fucked against the office wall.”well alrighty then. Their relationship is somewhat different in the aspect that they have both been burned as we often see but Jack more so than Sara. Once she starts to fall for Jack there is no stopping her or him. He had to be the absolute worst man she could get attached to – a self-centered, man-whore, intent on his own satisfaction every minute of the day.

The tortured part of Jack has to do with his past as a Dom and ultimately realizes what lies beneath and what he would like to do about it, more importantly with Sara, but will she submit to Jack.“You don’t need any other option baby. I’ve got everything you need.”

I enjoyed this short story very much! It was hot and I loved Sara and Jack. You will find yourself saying, oh no he didn't, referring to jack but at the same time you won't be able to deny his likability. The only thing I didn't like was that a few parts seemed a little rushed which just means Ms. Crowe could have made it longer and it would still have been as enjoyable as it was! I do recommend you read it and I look forward to the next in the series!

I was provided an ARC copy for an honest review from Tri Destiny Publishing.

I had really been looking forward to reading Liz Crowe's Realtor's series as I had heard so many great things about it. Both the series and the author were completely new to me. The only problem with being told how fantastic a series is, is that you usually set your expectations too high and are then consequently disappointed as it does not live up to them... Luckily, this was not the case with this book. I literally could not put it down! It has you feeling excited, anxious, frustrated, and extremely hot and bothered...

Jack and Sara are two highly passionate, motivated and independent individuals, who discover this completely explosive chemistry between them. For most of the book, Jack acts like a typical philanderer, who is extremely talented in seducing women. You feel acute frustration at his seeming inability to commit or admit to himself that he has deep feelings for Sara. Sara, on the other hand, has realised she harbours deep feelings for Jack but is afraid of being hurt, so is determined to keep him at a distance.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story-line as I found it to be completely different to your typical romance where the hero - although he may have some flaws to him - is basically portrayed as "perfect". This book was more realistic in the sense that Jack was not depicted as a classic hero at all. There were times you were fuming with his insensitivity or impassivity. Even so, you find yourself falling madly in love with him despite his womanising predilection.

This was a well-written book with extremely steamy sex scenes which left you panting at the end of each chapter. Crowe has an amazing talent for keeping your interest and begging for more. I am very much looking forward to reading the next two books! This is a read that is well worth it!! Undoubtedly refreshing and surprising, and extremely hot!! Loved it!

I had never read a book by Liz Crowe but what an amazing job she did with her realtor series! If you haven't read one yet you need to asap. The emotional roller coaster is a wild ride for sure. The dynamic between Jack and Sara are real life and realistic enough that you can put yourself in their shoes. Between the hatred, then lust to hatred again, and never being able to get the other person out of your head is one thing that really happens when you are in a relationship. The fact that Jack is so set in his ways and stubborn to change and that Sara is....well just plain STUBBORN adds to the dynamics tenfold! Then come the twists and turns and you are like WHAT are you DOING. Then things seem to be back on track just in time for you to literally yell at your iphone (kindle app) in my case. Honestly after reading this book in a matter of 2 days I hope that tells you that you won't be putting it down and then you get to keep reading about their hardheadedness in Sweat Equity....stay tuned for the next review.

I was searching for what to read after Fifty Shades and my friend recommended the Realtors Series to me. I have to say that Liz Crowe did not disappoint! This was my first Liz book and it will definitely not be my last!
Floor Time is the first in the series where Liz introduces us to Jack Gordan and Sarah Thornton. The characters are very realistic and you connect with them emotionally. I stayed up all night because I couldn’t put it down and wanted to know what happened next! Whats great about this book is that though this is erotica – this is a true story behind all the sex. It’s two adults trying to make things work. No relationship is easy and you really relate to these characters and just want them to work!
I am so glad that this is the 1st in the series – I look forward to what will happen next. Great job Liz! I loved it!

Let me sum it up for you, she wants him, she doesn't want him. She wants him, she doesn't want him. She wants him... they screw against a wall. She hates him. She wants him. She doesn't want him. Wants, doesn't, wants, doesn't, lets him spank her & bring her to orgasm, he retreats inside himself again and again because he's afraid of his so called 'dark-side'...let's see...oh yeah, she hates him, then wants him, doesn't, wants him, doesn't. He uses her body again, now she wants to love him except she hates him, but she wants him...oh, wait, no she doesn't.

**Repeat about 6 more times**

FINALLY he buys a ring, and about fifteen sentences later, THE END. Gee, I can hardly wait to read the next book, or can't I? Or can I? Or can't I? Or can I? Or can't I? Or can I?

This is my first Liz Crowe book. It's a fun read and I was pleasantly surprised by the light BDSM sprinkled throughout. There are some references to his best friend and his Dom/sub relationship, so I'm curious about if there is another book about Evan's story. But I digress, we're talking about Jack and Sara here. Focus, Christina!

The steamy was hot, the banter fun, and the characters interesting. My only complaint is that Jack needs to do a lot better. He has to ask for forgiveness A LOT and he's so salesman-y that I came away not trusting him much, and so it made me question the HEA. I sincerely hope their HEA sticks, because I think they both need it, but I was as wary as some of the side characters about it. So, we'll see if Jack gets better at the whole not-being-a-total-manwhore thing in book two.

Crowe - Floor time

Floor Time is a book by an author I really like. I hadn’t read any of her books before but we manage to connect via Facebook and she’s just such a genuinely nice person, I was excited and nervous to read some of her work. Why excited and nervous? Well, I’m always excited to read new work, but also nervous because I was warned there’s a bit of BDSM in Floor Time and that’s just not my thing. In all, it wasn’t exactly my kind of book, but it was still an enjoyable read.

Overall Rating: 3.5 stars- Worth a few minutes before bedtime.

Floor Time is a weird book for me to explain my feelings on. I feel like I can list several things about it that I didn’t like, but it’s also really stuck with me, which is my sign of a good book.
“I need you to tell me I’m not losing my mind.”

Jack and Sara are real estate agents. Both are great at their jobs. I really like Sara as a heroine. Without giving anything away, she gets shit on pretty badly at the beginning of the book (not related to Jack) and the way she handled it really made me proud.
Jesus, slut much, Sarah?

Jack is sort of the every-alpha. Smart, sexy, successful, womanizing. But he’s also kind of…..nice. It’s hard to explain. He has this weird mix of cocky bastard and nice guy. I dug it.
“I’ve been on my own long enough that I buy myself flowers, make my own pancake breakfasts, and am more than a little emotionally constipated. I don’t know how to give up control if you must know.”

So why do I have mixed feelings? Mostly in the story-telling. I felt like we had a lot of telling-not-showing. I wanted to see more interaction between Jack and Sara. Instead, we got a lot of Sara talking (to us) about things that happened before. It left me feeling less invested in the story than I like to be.
“Oh yeah, you come just like I knew you would. I knew you’d grab me with that pussy and not let go.”

Also, Floor Time covers a pretty long span of time and I felt a little rushed through it. It seemed like I’d turn a page and suddenly a month had gone by. I felt like I was missing things.
“You deserve better than how I’ve been treating you.” He held her gaze. “You’re special. I’m a shit. Not a nice guy.

That being said, I still enjoyed the smut (even if it was a little over my line of BDSM enjoyment) the characters and am curious enough to continue the series - especially because this is kind of a cliffhanger.
“You don’t need any other option baby. I’ve got everything you need.”

Smut Factor: 4 stars- Smokin’ Hot!
Character likability:
4 stars- I wish we were friends.
Storytelling:
4 stars- Totally bought it.
Writing and editing quality:
3 stars - A few errors, but nothing that took away from the story.

When you are a successful, female, realtor you meet and work with a lot of men. Sara Thornton is this woman, the woman who has a great career, a nice place to call her own, friends, and a great attitude. So what is she missing? Well a man of course, a man to have a relationship with and maybe even try to love. Problem is, Sara is not very good at picking out this man. The one she thought was worthy of her love and attention turned out to be engaged and buying a place to start his new life…with is fiancé. Then there is Jack Gordon, perfect example of a man you do NOT want to be with for anything more than a good time. A man whose only interest is in unattached sex with women…many women. Jack and Sara’s worlds collide one day and they find it hard to separate them again. Can two people who couldn’t seem more different really have something in common and enough in common to try for a relationship? Can a man who’s theory is to have sex and leave them change his ways for a woman who seems to not even want him? Can Sara look past the “sex Jack” and see a good man?

This book was absolutely amazing! Please note though, that this IS an erotic romance…so there are some quite detailed sex scenes. The whole concept of Sara, Jack, and the lives they lead is perfect. The characters in this book are great, they are easy to identify with. Some erotic books I have read are just that, erotic pages in a book, but this book is more than just an erotic story all about just sex. It is about two people who are afraid of commitment and relationships that are beyond “just sex” because of past relationships that they were hurt in. It’s about two people who are feeling things they haven’t felt for a long time, but aren’t so sure they want to open themselves up enough to see if it those feelings are mutual and may go somewhere. Along the way of figuring all those feelings out, it also is about two adults “meeting their sexual needs” in ways that make a reader blush. I enjoyed all aspects of this book and would encourage others to read it as well. It was a book that could seem sweet, yet could turn up the heat, all at the same time. There are more books that continue this story and I fully intend to read them and can’t wait to see where they take Jack and Sara in their lives and in their relationship. Well written book with great characters you will just love, sex scenes that will make you hot and/or blush, and moments that make you just say “aaawww”.

5/5 Stars!

I'll give it a 2.5 because there are a few hot scenes in it but I can't say I found Sara very likable- almost all of her issues were her own doing. Jack was only slightly better, but he was also kind of an idiot. Frankly, they deserve each other. The people with the most rounded character development were peripheral at best. Sara's brother was an asshat, and I personally thought Craig was kind of creepy/pathetic. I was so frustrated with the whole thing that by the end- which kind of sneaks up on you that I could not manage any real enthusiasm for the sequel- I would have been irritated if I actually paid for this book but it is free on Amazon right now so there is that.

There was also very very light BDSM in it- I was expecting a little bit more based on the blurbs.

As fo the actual narrative- while I do enjoy Liz Crowe's writing style- it is very fluid and brings a sense of realism to the book, the time jumps and a few sloppy transitions definitely mess with the pacing and make it a tad confusing at time.

******SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER***********

The other thing that bothered me was that the "attack" on Sara was completely unnecessary for this story. There was virtually no fallout from it, it did not effect any of her interpersonal relationships at all, and was there simply so Craig could "rescue" her. A fender-bender on a dark and stormy night or a break-in would have accomplished almost the exact same thing. I don't have problems with assault story lines if they are going to be served well...it is a very real issue that gets swept under the rug far too often but it deserves way more attention than it got in this book. There was no point to it, and using it as a way to make a comparison between 2 men was cheap.

I've never read one of Liz Crowe's books before, but having finished this one, I'm very glad the next two in the trilogy are sitting on my Kindle waiting to be devoured!

Floor Time is the first in The Realtors trilogy. This book is the story of Jack Gordon and Sara Thornton. They're both in the real estate business in Ann Arbor. Jack is the golden boy of the company, having made millions by closing deals. Sara is relatively new to the game, but she's incredibly focussed and good at her job, therefore she's got her own money stacking up in the bank.

As well as being a successful businessman, Jack is successful in his sexual conquests - having a virtual black book that most other men would kill for, but he never stays with one woman for long. Sara, despite finding Jack attractive, is determined not to be a number added to that book, then discarded. She wants fulfilment, but not enough to get mixed up with the notorious bad boy.

Soon, it becomes apparent that Jack is as attracted to her as she is to him, and when circumstances throw them together, sparks begin to fly. But with both of them having their own reasons for not getting into a relationship, things spiral out of control until Jack finally admits what he needs, and shows Sara what she's been missing.

I really enjoyed Floor Time. The setting is different and interesting, the plot unique and the characters easy to engage and identify with. It's a well-written, incredibly sexy book, and particularly with its ending, has left me clamouring to read more.

Having recently been lucky enough to read Liz Crowe’s new soon-to-be released novel Paradise Hops (which I loved!), I decided to check out some of her other novels. I started Floor Time, the first novel in the Stewart Realty series, and I have to tell you that I have absolutely LOVED every page of this novel! I couldn’t put it down!! I downloaded the next two novels in the series right after I finished Floor Time, as I knew I had to have more of this series ☺

The story centers around Sara and Jack, two realtors who work for Stewart Realty. Jack is Stewart Realty’s top seller and also the most eligible bachelor in town. He is a strong character, knows what he wants out of life and goes after it, no one makes Jack do anything he doesn’t want to do. Sara is a new agent at Stewart Realty. She is career driven and wants to keep on that path; she won’t let anything or anyone get in her way. Sara is well aware of Jack’s reputation and wants nothing to do with him.

Floor Time is a fabulously easy read with an amazing cast of characters. I love how Floor Time had a real life feel it. The chemistry felt between the characters is nothing short of electrifying. I was struck by a range of emotions while reading this novel, I love a read that can toy with my emotions but not leave me feeling emotionally devastated! Floor Time is also an incredibly HOT read. When you have electrifying chemistry can it be anything else?? Did I say, that this novel is a HOT novel?!?!

If you are looking for a novel that isn’t heavy, that grabs you right from the start and makes you beg for more… Floor Time is your next read ☺

Jack Gordon, thirty-five and a millionaire, is Ann Arbor’s most eligible and hottest bachelor. He’s also the top selling real-estate broker in the area. He does have one flaw—a past as a Dom—which he wants to keep buried as far in the closet as he can so no one ever finds out. Even if he is bored with vanilla sex relationships, he just can’t afford the risk.

Sara Thornton is new to the real-estate game, but is on the fast track to success. Sara likes order and routine; she’s sexually unfulfilled but refuses to be another notch in Jack’s bed post.

When Jack and Sara have a chance encounter, the sparks fly off the charts. Will they discover they are what the other needs and take the chance to make a relationship work?

Floor Time, the first book in the Stewart Realty series by Liz Crowe, starts off with a bang. I loved her blend of naughty romance; it keeps me coming back and wanting more from her characters.

Jack is the perfect example of naughty and nice; he has the naughty tendency towards the D/s scene but has been burned in the past so he’s trying to keep that side of himself locked up. Unfortunately for him, it’s almost impossible to keep the most important parts of yourself in a closet.

Sara is new to the business but doesn’t want to be just anyone’s one night stand. She thinks Jack is a womanizer and someone to avoid at all costs. Watching these two characters dance around their feelings was fun and sexy.

This book gives just enough away to make me want to read more in this series in the future. I want to see a happy ending for Sara and Jack.

The whole story starts HOT when Sara and her boyfriend Adam are almost caught having sex in an apartment by her co-worker, Jack.
Later Sara discovers that Adam was engaged, wedding marked, and while he fucked her, his bride was traveling.
Devastated by this revelation, Sara decides to focus on her work life and stay away from men who only want to use women.

One of these men was Jack Gordon. Gorgeous, rich and successful, Jack was the kind of man that all women sighed. Exactly why Sara kept away from her. But a complicated business transaction put Sara and Jack working together, and with that kindled the spark of attraction.

Sara did not want to allow herself to fall in love with Jack because she knew it would end with a broken heart. And Jack was not a man to fall in love. He was a Dom, and have made women happy, but without commitment.

But the inevitable happened. Sara found herself in love with Jack, but his unfaithfulway of being made her escape from him, and just like that, too late, Jack discovered that he could not live without her.

A sexy story.
Several times I was angry at Jack for being such an ass, but I also had anger of Sara, for fooled several times.
Of course, as a reader, reading both sides of the story, I could see how passionate they were both, despite not wanting to admit.
I loved Sara's brother his partner, and learn how the american real estate works.
The end of the book was .... WOW!!

Now I need to read the rest of the series...

I'm struggling with a review on this book. I actually rate it somewhere between 2.5 to 2.75 stars but I'm rounding up to 3 to be generous.

This story is being compared to Fifty Shades but those comparisons are woefully lacking.

In Fifty Shades, Christian Grey was an deeply, emotionally scarred young man where Jack Gordon is a man-whore...he nailed anything walking. He was a constant flirt and his salacious behavior became irritating after a while. I honestly didn't care for him that much. Perhaps if he had acted that way because of some prior trauma...maybe. But, as it was, the guy was kind of a prick.

Sara was sufficient as a heroine, although she didn't have me clamoring to like her either. The whole "Old Sara" and "New Sara" stuff got on my nerves because old/new Sara seemed like the same Sara to me. I didn't see any difference in her character even though her "old" self was often talked about.

I know that BDSM is the new "hot" thing in romance but it just didn't seem to fit in this story. It felt like it was thrown in as an afterthought to ramp up the books' sexiness. It didn't mesh well with Jack or Sara's nature. Maybe the BDSM element will be stronger in subsequent stories but it fell a little flat in this one. I downloaded the next two books in the series but I'm not sure if I'll be reading them right away. IMO, Floor Time just didn't reach the mark for an engaging contemporary romance.

Jack Gordon is sex on legs! His winning smile, his affable demeanor, gorgeous body *swoon*, and from what everyone says ( he has been around the block a few times) he is the best lover that any woman has ever had... but could not keep.

Under that exterior, you know there is more and in this story we get to see just how scared he is of being alone and of making a commitment and being hurt. You see, he has been there before and does not want to ever experience that sense of loss again.

Meeting Sara, totally unprepared, he felt the full impact of the attraction between them. Slam, bam! He is struck and cannot get that woman out of his mind. His on and off again relationship with Sara is something to experience! He needs her complete submission but does not know how far to take her before he is committed to her. How can you have a Dom/sub relationship without investing yourself to each other and trusting each other.

Sara has been warned of Jack's legendary sexual ping pong. Can you ever warn a woman who is attracted to a man and seen her walk away? I haven't. When that primal emotion strikes and the pheromones are flying, there is very little your brain can control. Jack challenges her and understands her untapped potential sexually. What is a girl to do?

This is a great story of love, loyalty, trust and commitment... but wait, there is more. Keep reading this series. I am not putting these books down until I get to the end of their story.

Didn't really work for me.

When I started reading this book it had 5 reviews on amazon, 4 good 1 not so much so I thought I'd give it a go. The problem for me was that I didn't really like the two main characters, Sara, although portrayed as a strong independent woman, which in a lot of cases she was she was a doormat for Jack, yes you could argue strong sexual attraction and lust and I know she tried to resist but it was a case of one time too many, oh and another and another... You get the picture, and Jack, where do I start with Jack, as a rule I like a bad boy and in these books we expect a certain amount of 'playboy' but he was a man-whore and it was a little too much for me. Also I didn't really feel the chemistry between them and the bdsm bit, to me at least felt like it had been added later it just didn't seem to fit it with the rest of the book.
On the positive side I loved Sara's brother Blake as well as Rob and Craig.
I did think when I started this book that it was Jack and Sara's story and the next book would feature a different couple so it was with surprise that when curiosity got the better if me and I checked out the next two books they're both the continuation of this relationship which is worth bearing in mind, it's not a problem for me since I won't be continuing on but I do like to know beforehand if I'm reading a standalone or the first in a series.

Floor Time is where it all started. I had come across this book a few times before I realized that there was a reason everyone was talking about it. So I checked it out....and am so glad that I did. Jack and Sara, Sara and Jack...and then there's Craig. The chemistry and tension between characters literally jumps off the page at you and sucks you in. When you feel frustration and irritation toward a fictional character making you want to reach into the book and slap some sense into them, you know you have found a great book. When you feel the pain of a character and want to reach into the book and comfort them, you know you have found a great author.

The Stewart Realty series is a fantastic read and I am so glad that I started it. It takes you on a journey with the characters that can only be described as true to being Real Life scenarios. I was so sick of the same out "cookie-cutter" books that didn't take risks and throw curve balls. Floor Time and the subsequent books in the series have that in spades. I would definitely recommend it to everyone (and have). I would definitely read it again (and will). It is a MUST READ!
