Can a friendship survive three years of lies, a famous rock band, obsessive fans and your own family?

Tressa Morrison has carefully faked a normal life for herself online. Unfortunately, to finally meet her best friend Sonia, she has to travel with Craic, the most famous Irish band in the world. All Tressa needs is one week of fake normality visiting with her e-friend. Her Peter Jackson obsessed brother and her rock star father can pretend for one week can’t they?

Covering up that your father is a rock star is hard when his band becomes involved in a media frenzy. Add in a Peter Jackson obsessed brother and a bunch of star struck fans staking out the hotel and pretending to be a normal teen just got a whole lot harder! Fame isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially when you are the child of the famous person. And how do you know if your friends really like you or just want to get to your relatives through you. Tressa Morrison accompanies her father, lead singer of internationally famous band Craic, on the New Zealand leg of his world tour so she can finally meet her online penfriend Sonnie. But Tressa hasn't been entirely honest with Sonnie and 'Craic' follows the journey of these two friends as they find out the truth about each other and their families and discover whether their friendship can survive. A sweet tale about conquering fears, going after the things you really want and testing the strength of friendship.

Tressa and Sonnie have been friends for years, but have never met. With Tressa in Ireland and Sonnie in Wellington, New Zealand, they were on opposite sides of the world. Despite this, they're as close as sisters and email each other about everything.

Except one small thing - well actually it's a big thing, but just what Tressa doesn't want to tell her penpal in NZ. Tressa's dad is Paul Morrison. Paul Morrison is the lead singer in one of the most popular rock bands in the world - Craic.

Tressa has tried making friends before, but it all turns sour when they learn who her dad is. They want authographs, or visits or introductions, and when Tressa refuses, they turned nasty. Even Craic's adult fans weren't to be trusted.

Tressa has lied about her life to Sonnie, just wanting things to be normal for a change. Suddenly Tressa's dad has announced a tour that includes NZ, and Tressa is horrified. She decides as long as they avoid Wellington, everything will be fine.

On the other side of the world in NZ, Sonnie's brother Craig (who deems himself Craic's BIGGEST fan) is mortified they aren't doing a concert in Wellington. Sonnie doesn't care. She's sick of hearing about Craic, and is just looking forward to meeting Tressa.

Sonnie starts to worry too. Will Tressa like her? Will they get on in person, as well as they do online?

A great story about fragility of friendships, self esteem and self confidence, secrets and subterfuge. How on earth do you hide a rockstar who also just happens to be your dad?
