Deliverance: Psychic Disturbances and Occult Involvement

Rate this book
Should be useful for anyone seeking to understand and help people who believe themselves to be disturbed or invaded by powers which they cannot control. It is illustrated throughout by pertinent case studies and has been revised to include material which has strong contemporary relevance.

Solid, but I already knew a bunch of it from Phil Rickman's Merrily Watkins mysteries. Phil read it too.

I was more than impressed with this volume. The author(s) show a strong knowledge of both parapsychology and the history of deliverance practices. This book has been used for years to train Anglican deliverance ministers, and in my opinion, it has withstood the test of time.

I do have a few disagreements on some topics (or at least areas where I'd like clarification), but overall this is a fantastic resource. I also intend on using some of the prayers and rites included in Appendix III in lay ministry and home situations.
