Philippe de Commynes, Philippe de Commines or Philippe de Comines (1447 - 1511) was a French-speaking politician, chronicler, historian and memorialist of Flemish descent. He has been called "the first truly modern writer" (Charles Augustin Sainte-Beuve) and "the first critical and philosophical historian since classical times" (Oxford Companion to English Literature).

I was looking forward to read this book as it was written by someone who lived at the same period.. Although the book in itself is interesting, I believed the title is wrong especially that very early in the book Warwick is killed, so feel a bit ripped off as the title is misleading.
