I picked this one up at an antique store near me. It was quite literally falling apart, but I saved its life and glued it back together using Mod Podge. When I looked it up here, I found a review someone wrote, claiming it may be one of the first biographies published after JFK's assassination. I'm sure many other JFK biographies are better written and structured (I know so), but that single detail kept me hooked. Then again, I take a liking to old things anyway.
It took me forever to read, as I read like a slug in summer. JFK: A Complete Biography is very simple and amateurish, which made it feel satisfying to read. I felt as though I could have picked it up in middle school to write a lousy book report on John, a figure whom I've adored since about that time. For that very reason, it was an enjoyable read. I adored learning lots about his childhood as well as his wife. If you manage to find a copy, it's a fun and light read if you have any interest in the topic: a mediocre biography, but a playfully blithe novel.
