Another very entertaining non-fiction book by this author!
With the help of several experienced party throwers, the author has put together a neat book for those with little experience of arranging sex-parties (directed mainly to the gay men population).
The book is from 2005, so I am not sure if the scene has changed anything since then, but these things are probably quite timeless, considering what the old Romans were up to.

My only experience from these kind of parties come strictly from M/M fiction, but from what I can see, those books have been quite accurate in their portrayal…

There are 12 chapters in this book, pedagogically dealing with different themes:

1. It’s My Party
2. Setting the Scene
3. Get the Guests and Get Things Going
4. Dressing Up, Dressing Down, Cleaning Up, Cleaning Out
5. Behaving Yourself
6. Three’s allowed
7. The Speciality of the House
8. Meanwhile, Down the Dungeon
9. Bondage for Beginners
10. Play Hard, Play Safe
11. The Morning After
12. And the Morning After That

Each chapter contains a haven of good advice, some anecdotes and what one should think of when hosting a sex party. I have made some notes from my favorite chapters below.

Chapter 2 has all the initial information important for the planning, such as what Music to play. Who wants Celine Dion when engaging in fist-fucking or spanking? The easiest is of course to choose music according to any theme the party might have- Even I, gang-bang newbie as I am, can relate to that advice:-).

There is also suggestions of themes: hat could be fun, such as „Toga party“, „Halloween orgy“, or my personal favorite; „Dick in the Dark“-Just dim the lighting, strip off, and go search out that donkey tail.
People attending a sex party should also consider their grooming, such as shower before, not eating Asparagus, keep the nails trimmed, and, of course…Cleaning out.
„ In point of fact, the rectum normally is usually not full of shit; it’s a tunnel, not a storehouse“.
However, the less cleaned out, the messier it can get (I just have to imagine it, not having tried it out myself…). But since a party can go on for a long time, the author makes an excellent point:
„Remember that down in the ol’ colon, things just keep a-movin’. You can thoroughly clean yourself out before a party, but that’s no guarantee you won’t be ready to shit by the time the rubber hits the road“. Indeed.

Chapter 6 is very funny, going through different variations of group sex, from threesomes in different models, to the All-on-one variety.
„A successful many-on-one scene requires a group of tops with a feeling of fellowship and a willingness to share“ - Some of the gang banging words of wisdom should really be applied to all aspects in life, maybe we would live in a better world then...

Chapter 7 explains different orgies, such as jack-off parties, foot fetish parties (no surprise there, this is a favorite of the author:-)), Wet and Wild parties (this is where the rule of No Asparagus comes in. Who wants get a golden shower that stinks…mhmm?. And for heaven’s sake, don’t take drugs that can be passed along through the urine!). Also the marvel of fist fucking is featured here, with the advice to all prospective hosts out there to provide a sling to their guests, since it provides a comfortable place for both fister and fistee:

description

For more graphic depictions of the practical use of a sling, do google Thor Larson. Now there is one asshole I would not want to be!
Memo to self. Never start with fisting.

Chapter 10 is a very important chapter, since it brings up the subject of safety in more detail. In particular, the most obvious: HIV and other STDs. The use of condoms is something given in this age, but one should also remember not to wear the same latex glove while fisting several bottoms. A bloody whip also needs to be disinfected before getting on to the next willing ass, the use of sterile needles while play-piercing is mandatory, as is the use condoms for your dildos and other things that might be plunged in somewhere.

After all, who would want to bring home the unwanted company of these little suckers (or worse, of course):

I have learnt a lot form this book. Yes, particularly about gay sex parties, but also more general things that might come in useful while making an ordinary party.
It is all about being a good host, and providing a safe venue for your guests to let loose. And in order for a host to do that, they need to keep an overview of things, and make sure they are not the most drunk person at the location. Obviously, ahem.

If ever I will have a sex party )and hopefully soon!) I will definitely read this book! It is so informative and easy to read. It made me laugh, be aroused, masturbate and want men so much it made me cry! And masturbate! There are a lot of guys in my mind as I read this book. It's a sex party anyway so I guess I want to have a whole bunch of naked sweaty yummy men to play with and use my body.

Am I sounding like a whore? I am a slut, mind you! I will definitely reread this book again and again because it always make me feel happy =P

An entertaining yet somewhat crude book about all the various beginner topics one should known in regards to parties. I felt the information was great for the age it was written in, however, it does suffer under the test of time in regards to topics around consent, communication, and safety.
