Found this book in a second hand bookstore and was attracted because of the title of the book. As expected, the book is rich in local (Malaysian) culture. Honestly, I seldom read books written by Malaysian's writer. Trying it for the first time and... Hmmm... Acceptable! ^^ One weakness of this book is that the plot is a little confusing at the middle part of the story. Those who are curious of South East Asia black magic should give it a try..
Glad I picked up this book, have always been facinated by certain interesting subjects that are quite Malaysian in theme. Amir Hafizi does not dissapoint, although this book reads like it has been written for a movie, which it has become. Now I am trying to get a hold of the movie to watch it.
