Just read this wonderful book again with my son. I’ve read now three times. The first time in my 20s. The second time with my daughter in my 30s, and again with my son in my 40s. It has never not been delightful.
A classic that stands the test of time. Easily my favorite book and one that takes the reader to a place where the imagination is free but also keeps your feet on the ground. Courage, selflessness, death, life…this book has it all. Worth owning and reading time and time again.
A touching story about some very English rabbits, refugees from man-made destruction, searching for a new home while encountering other animals and dangers in their way.
Great story revisited. Such brave characters. Love the format of the father telling a story to his daughter. I had forgotten that detail. You really root for these rabbits!!
