The crux of this book is about Kit and Lucy accidentally finding each other and then trying to get past the past. The majority of the book takes place in the two story house that Kit has hidden away in. Neither trusts the other and they spend the time trying to get the truth out of each other about what happened in the past and why they are where they are now. Lucy is a character I can take or leave. At one point you understand her pain and then she is deceptive while demanding answers. Kit was a character that is relatable. He made mistakes in the past, trying to do what he thought was best for the ones he loved, but is paying the price for those decisions.
I thought we were going on a trail of adventure, but it was spent going back and forth about what happened between the two of them 10 yrs ago. So many times I found myself yelling "just tell the truth". I think that if we were not left "biting our nails" for so long, more adventure could have been added to the story.
If you like second chances romance, then this is your book.
I think I am more interested in reading Jake's story.

Gone Missing is the first book in the Love on the Line series. It is full of twists and betrayals, mysteries and startling revelations. With a thriller edge to it, the storyline is unpredictable and compelling. The characters are relatable and engaging. It all melds together into a very entertaining read. I could not put this book down! The ending has me pining for book two in the series.

This was a great read and good start to a new series. You feel the push/pull between Lucy and Kit as well as the emotions they go through and desperation, she knows her son is out there and won't stop and Kit knows her turning up means things are in motion that can't be stopped until the end. Settle in and clear your evening as you won't be putting this one down.

What a page turner this turned out to be. It started down from the pits and slowly climbed hooking you in. Luce & Kit earn your sympathy for all that they endure. Luce is the stronger character that had lent more weight to the story. Another brilliant story by Rose!.
