Now, I originally rounded the rating down, but since I've read it I've come back to this book more times and obviously it's something that blew my mind, so I'm rounding up.
This is PURE dark erotica, a Dub-Con with themes like humiliation, degradation, objectification, domestic discipline and sex-slavery throughout the entire story... Some might even see it as Non-con (rape), so if you don't like these things, steer clear. I have to admit that I felt uncomfortable in the beginning. But I just couldn't put the book down, it was like watching a car-crash and couldn't look away...
We have here a newlywed couple, where the heroine Eileen had always had fantasies about force and rape since she can remember, but her "barriers" stemmed in her upbringing never allowed her to do anything "except in the missionary position. With the lights off." Even the idea of anything else was disgusting to her. Because according to her mother:
The hero Anthony "sees beneath the repressed exterior" and "wants to give her a life that is sexually fulfilling to her", so their honeymoon turns into an intensive training of Eileen to be his sex-slave... even against her will. There is a lot of internal struggle and actually besides the kink that's the second next thing you can find in this book...
Everything she had ever been taught about how a woman should be was being stripped from her, and she felt helpless to control her own responses. As the days went by though, Anthony methodically peels her inhibitions away, layer by layer...

Definitely the book for those who have non-con rape fantasies. Exceptionally well written it's absolutely engrossing and arousing. I'm almost finished with book 2 and I can say there are a lot of different kinks covered in this and it is very creative. This first novel does not have impact play (spanking, paddling, caning, etc) and I almost didn't miss it! I think its breathtaking that he was able to train her without it.
One of the things I like best in BDSM books is when people just are themselves. So often the setting is a club with all the beautiful people, the submissive or slave is intentionally bratty just to get a punishment, and even if it is is non-con it is consensual non con. Don't get me wrong - I'm fine with that. But this book is just absolutely not apologetic. If he wants her he takes her - and he says so. What he enjoys he says he enjoys. She struggles inside her head with whats happening but there is no guilt scenario with him. The interesting thing to me was he never came off as mean or abusive. She never comes off as a victim. I never felt sorry for her or mad at him. That's some writing chops to be able to pull that off! Bravo!

This is TPE at its finest. You won't find depth of character or world building in this book. What you will find is page after page of some of the most erotic humiliation and slave training I've ever read. Sizzling hot and ridiculous in its abundance, the sex scenes and dominance will have you one clicking book 2 before you finish book 1. It's kinky, it's bondage, it's sex slave training, and I'm giving it five stars because I couldn't put it down but be warned... If TPE and humiliation isn't your thing, this book will definitely offend.

This is the first of two linked novels that tells the story of Anthony and his wife to be Eileen. Eileen through her upbringing is sexually repressed, but in talking with her fiancé has admitted to fantasies where she is taken by pirates and made to submit to sex.
For those into medical kink Eileen has a pre nuptial medical arranged by her husband with his doctor friend...and it will horrify some but be an erotic turn on for the rest of us;)
The honeymoon is in London, and Anthony decides his Dominance and his wife's submissive training start from day one. All his plans link to her needs. This is written from the male perspective and for those who like to read of training from authors like Lindsey Brooks or Elliot Mabeuse and enjoyed them then I am sure this is a writer you will enjoy too.
The humiliation, public sex, control and Dominance are sublime and Eileen's horror and then pleasure from being forced to submit really hit her buttons, along with this reader :)
To me in the UK the tours and landmarks they see and visit in London are accurately described and it was fascinating to see them as if through a tourist's eyes.

First thing to remember: don't read this thinking it is a Romance because it isn't.
So Eileen is about to get married to Anthony, this shady rich guy who she has known for all of 7 weeks. In a conversation later on, he tells her that he planned their honeymoon for months but I wasn't sure if that meant before they met or not.
At the very beginning Anthony takes her to see this whacked-out Doctor who decides she is like ultra-submissive and then wipes her memory of the entire office visit. It really didn't mesh too well with the rest of the story.
So then our loving couple get married and fly to London for their honeymoon. I expected him to take her to some isolated castle and torture her in the Dungeon but instead he does it right in their hotel room. Two weeks of intense training to make her into what he calls a "sex slave." Interspersed with bits of London trivia when he would take her out sight-seeing for Lunch every day.
It is all non-consensual except that Eileen keeps giving in over and over so then it becomes more dubious-consent. Apparently her mother raised her to be totally sexually repressed and this poor thing is an emotional wreck. But here's the thing: I think Anthony could have gotten everything he wanted without all the force and the endless name-calling if he had just put some effort into it. He really didn't have to be that harsh. In some ways he may actually be helping her but it is really hard to tell if he cares. Some more encouragement and praise from him actually would have made it a much more interesting story.
And I really shouldn't complain that it had no impact play but I kinda think it might have helped Eileen relax at a couple of key moments. The knife stuff I could definitely have done without.
It was well-written enough that I am satisfied with my rating and I will probably read the sequel at some point but I am not dying to pick it up.

Are you looking for a warm fuzzy romance to read where a knight in shining armor sweeps a beautiful girl off her feet and they ride happily ever after into the sunset? Yes? Then you might want to skip this one.

I am new to the term "spank-bank" material, but I think this book more than qualifies as I had to run out for batteries multiple times. This book has left me breathless and with the feeling of what the hell have I just read. This book stirs up so much emotion, love and hate all rolled into one. Words are just not enough!!

I keep thinking I should hate this and everything he's doing to her, yet it's the sexist thing I've read in a long time. As he points out, and she sees for herself...why doesn't she leave him, why doesn't she call someone. She sits fir dinners, night out on boats and even goes to the theatre. She's a tourist in London on her Honeymoon, and when not in sex slave training, falls into this roll, and enjoys her time, and not at anytime does she appear to hate Anothy, except when he's hurting her, but his is not perminant. I've loved this story, and I look forward to reading more...so much more. This book doesn't seem to know of any boundaries...nothing is taboo!!!... Great

No holds barred, sadistic rape and lust, a training of Eileen which for once completely lacks the froufrou, fifi and fluff you get in all those allegedly "dark romances". The woman is put through the wringer sexually. Period.

I read the free online version of this before it was published, and it's suprising how mild it is for a story about a guy training his wife to be a sexual submissive (not actually a sex-slave). A lot of detail about public humiliation, clothing, etc. There's also medical play and f/f. Nothing squicky, and no non-con: the author takes the angle that the husband is releasing the wife's true desires. A pleasant relaxing light read.

This is not easy to review since I both liked and disliked the series of the Training of Eileen. As a general rule I try not to think much when reading Erotica but it was hard sometimes considering the drastic and sudden change to Eileen's life and how it was all decided without her.
Overall, considering it is an erotica, book the scenes were sexy though they did push limits. I think my pushing mine went too far with these stories. I found interesting the conscious intent in the training and the changes as well as Eileen's reluctant willingness.
I wish things had happen more slowly, i wish she could had kept a more functional life. But...

Had books 1 & 2 recommended by my friend Carol and man am I ever glad I decided to read them! In "Elicitation" we follow Eileen as she begins her journey into her new life with her future husband, a husband who has spent a great deal of time, money and effort to make Eileen's fantasies a mind blowing reality! Without giving too much of the plot away let me just say that if you prefer more of a Vanilla style romance, then this is definitely not the book for you! Non-Con and Dub-Con erotica to be sure. Humiliation/Degradation/Objectification are all used heavily throughout and with incredible eroticism. Medical Kink and Exhibitionism also play large roles. I'm only listing a few of the things here too (in reality this book is filled with kinks). The sex is hot, Hot, HOT!! But there is a seriously unrealistic amount of it. Book 1 covers something like three weeks with Eileen and her husband, and you can bet she has at least several hundred orgasms in that time! Overall "Elicitation" was a very quick and fun read and had me flipping open the cover of book 2 "Evocation" as soon as possible just to see what happened next. Highly recommended!!

It was really irritating how every sentence - no matter what it pertained to - spoken by Anthony ended in an exclamation mark! It totally changes the voice and I'm not sure every single situation called for it. Otherwise, I think this book was just too much for me. Too much of one thing - actually sex was the only thing - with nothing else to cling to in terms of developing the story. Which leaves me with no interest to read on into these people's lives.

It was a bit of bog standard tpe/rape/humiliation etc I want to to be either surprised or taken aback but neither the storyline nor the 'action' had that effect. I guess if someone is looking to move up from fsg into a more 'extreme' realm this might be good, but for me....

This is very hot, very delicious, just what I want when I'm in the mood for something edgy and not bothered with moral limits. This is TPE, there is not a lot of sweet, but to me, this is not that kind of extreme like "As She's Told" - which had been difficult for me, I'm quite enjoying this author.

Don't bother frying your brain. Idiotic woman marries a man who dehumanises her and abuses her in every way possible, and somehow she likes it, or so it would seem. I didn't bother with the entire book, because it is just bad.

Very sexy, but also super messed up. I think I would have enjoyed this more if it were more dub-con than the flat out non-con it so entirely embraced. Granted, that was told up front so there were no unpleasant surprises and I knew what I was getting myself into.
