Radix Malorum, the root of all evil, is a name that has been feared for almost two thousand years. Given the name Radix at birth in First Century Greece because he was the root of his parent's love, this shadowy harbinger of death has earned his last name, which was given to him much later in life. The product of a Faustian deal with the Prince of Darkness, Radix possesses unimaginable powers. The most notable of his powers is the fact that he cannot be killed. Death has chased him for most of his existence, but all that Death has been able to collect is the souls of Radix's countless victims. It is the year 2000, and a young man named Nathaniel Salvatore is Radix's next intended target. Following the command of Satan, Radix must slay certain men and women who show signs of threatening his dark plans. These selected individuals must die by the turn of each century in order for Radix to keep his deal with the Prince of Darkness. Now all that Nathan had read about in the Holy Bible has become a real part of his life, more real than anything he has ever known. In the course of his journey, Nathan must endure many trials and tribulations, not to mention encounters with angels, demons, and even the Devil himself. His only goal is to survive the certain death that awaits him at the hands of Radix. If Nathan can live to the year 2001, then and only then can Radix be defeated and his soul be condemned to Hell for eternity. Will Nathan become the hero of destiny, or will he just die trying - another victim in Radix's merciless slaughter. "A Story Told" takes readers into a warfare that spans centuries; a warfare led by Radix Malorum, an immortal assassin in Satan’s employ who leaves a trail of death on the centuries he exists in. Next up is Nathaniel Salvatore killing would ultimately stop the Radix curse from continuing into the year 2001. An element of free choice or predetermination follows the general theme of the book as Nathan undergoes a test beyond his imagination where he meets greater forces of divinity in both camps.
The present work represents a complex and elaborated first novel by Andrea LoParco, accurately dealing with the theme of spiritual war, where the supernatural forces fight for the soul of a man and therefore of the entire human race.

"A Story Told" by Chris LoParco Masterfully woven fable of eternal struggle, an immortal being known as Radix Malorum has spent millennia murdering marked individuals by Satan. His latest victim will be Nathaniel Salvatore.

The book draws inspiration from a recognized need between good and evil, even as it comes from the prophecies of the Bible. The fearful trials Nathan faces take the reader from page to page and make them sit right at the edge of their seats with the confrontation of angels and demons.

The plot can get very riveting, and it is with the building sense of tension that LoParco's writing unfolds the plot in such a manner that the excitement gains hold subtly, like riding a slow bicycle then suddenly horseback riding down the rampage of a hill. So much in this sense which LoParco's writing affords fantastic exploration into the supernatural, faith, and power of redemption….

In "A Story Told" book by author Chris Loparco elaborates on the 'mythical' portrayal of the age-old struggle between good and evil, the battle of Heaven and Hell together with the Radix Malorum. Radix is one such figure, simply because an ageless curse made him a servant of the Devil. The action timeline then moves towards the year 2000 when Radix is in search for Nathaniel Salvatore who although is a reserved and dull young man, is finding more and more snippets of Bible verses strewn in most places around him, rather than just inside the book. In the last, through brutally grueling encounters with angels and demons, Nathan’ crucible gets to be one of perseverance, and faith. Provided he manages to survive through the year 2001, it is probable that the dark age of Radix would come to an end. In a contrasting manner, this piece of writing implores the audience to examine the concept of selflessness zeal and forgiveness as affecting one’s life.

"A Story Told" is the life of Nathaniel Salvatore an everyman who finds himself in very extraordinary circumstances. Just like Breathtaker, there is another villain, a man from centuries past who made a deal with Satan and has been chasing Nathan for virtue of Radix Malorum – those who endanger all that is wicked.
Located in the year 2000 the story progressively forms tension as Nathan has to make it into the year 2001 to effectively break Radix’s curse. Interwoven through such motifs as spiritual fight, divine intercession, an ethnic struggle the novel reveals the possibility of a human to deal with evil.

The overall plot of the novel follows Nathan as the protagonist travels through this supernatural landscape- and it is truly adventurous in the most philosophical sense of the concept.

"A Story Told" Book by Chris Loparco is a fantastic installment of a story where the struggle between Heaven and Hell hangs in the balance of a very key protagonist, Radix Malorum-an immortal on a quest, with a deal by Satan, to be forever bound. However, one thing haunting his mind is that of killing all that comes in the way of Satan's future glory, which gets him on a collision course head-on with Nathaniel Salvatore.
Nathan is an ordinary man's journey who can turn out to be an eventual hero of fate through his trials by divine beings and battles with evil itself. The theme about the immortality and servitude of all eternity in Radix revolves around a mighty question of redemption.

LoParco tastefully intertwines the themes of spirituality with that of plot tension, making this a sharply intellectual and gripping novel…

Radix Malorum, also referred to as the ‘root of all evil’, is a character full of hatred as well as violence and took birth into a loving Greek family at some point during the First Century. He was warped by forces to become an executioner who sacrificed every individual cursed by Satan once in every hundred years. This places him face to face with the character Nathaniel Salvatore in the year 2000. Now Nathan was a God-fearing man and all of a sudden finds himself having to fight this creature Radix who ranges not as the only supernatural being but with an angel, a demon and the devil. The point of turn in the book changes to all or nothing and it is a fast paced faith, fate and an unnerving quest to redeem the human race.

It is because time is running out for Nathan that the reader is suspended upon a roller coaster ride of survival, faith, and redemption as one single soul may suffice to run the gamut for many.

"A Story Told" by author Chris Loparco does very well to convey an age-old battle wherein Radix Malorum, who sold his soul to eternal life after making a dark bargain, represents humanity's worst aspects. Living in a world of death and destruction with orders to kill selected individuals who threaten his sinister mission, Radix exists. But the year 2000 has brought him into contact with an ordinary young man, now thrust into an extraordinary destiny, Nathaniel Salvatore. Nathan's survival quest until 2001, battling demons and embracing unexpected spiritual encounters, elevates this tale into an exploration of hope amidst darkness. This is such a good story with action, supernatural lore, and moral complications, making the reader think how far we would stretch in order to fight for salvation.

LoParco succeeds in packing suspense into every page, supernatural encounters, and tests of character, making this a supposedly impossible survival story. And there are even deep spiritual undertones in the novel and the questions that just hang there throughout Nathan's journey, given a thought-provoking aspect coupled with being thrilling.
LoParco really reaches deep into fantasy by questioning deep into destiny and faith and gives this exciting scope to the narrative such that it is not the human spirit that makes this so interesting in this exploration of the power…

In "A Story Told", we are treated to the hero, Nathaniel Salvatore, who finds himself trapped in a nightmare as faith and fate contend. Radix, an avatar of death, nearly two thousand years back then, gets his orders of execution from Satan himself.
The curse that stood the test of centuries, enforcing this cycle of life also ensured butchery since to gain high heating time for the engine of survival what it would need is death. As Nathan walks down the road of death between angels and demons, everything he has ever read in the Bible seems to turn into reality. LoParco weaves an interesting tale of faith, fear, and hope when one man, through the virtue of endurance, survival, and strength, can stand up against relentless evil on his head.

In "A Story Told" Nathaniel Salvatore is endowed with a supernatural thriller story of being chased by an immortal servant of Satan known as Radix Malorum.
When he finally awakens, Radix has been assigned the task of assassinating individuals that are a threat to Satan’s plan and it’s now Nathan’s turn to make it to 2001. The novel contains such biblical motifs, and spiritual temptations and actual battles of angels against the forces of darkness.

The price Radix paid for immortality, a result of making a blood pact with a demon, can be broken if Nathan lasts till the end of the year. Nathan fights celestial beings and his whole soul and humanity is at stake and suspense is created on every page.

In "A Story Told" readers develop the focus on the main antagonist Radix Malorum, an immortal blood-sucking killer to whom a Devil offers immortality. His task: kill certain people at the end each Century. Amidst the eve of arriving at close of the millennium, Nathaniel Salvatore finds himself directly in the gunsight of Radix Malorum. Religious stories and tense interaction are combined when Nathan has to fight opponents he cannot comprehend. Added to that is angels, demons and even the Devil, and it all depends if he will be able to make it till 2001. This makes a grueling trek through the love and hatred, faith and duty for the whole world, much less leaving for the final, the final battle that can define the fate of the world.

“A story told " this book is the story of the man called Radix Malorum, a first-century Greek who, after a deal with the Devil, condemned him to live forever. Radix is an instrument of Satan-he is there to kill chosen ones for his pact. The year is 2000. Another person now in the line to bite the dust in Radix is Nathaniel Salvatore, a man as ordinary or in other words completely normal. The roles of angels and demons, and an element of God are present as part of Christians’ beliefs and theories. Nathan must live till the year 2001 in order to rid the curse and send Radix to Hell. This is a post modern historical religious supernatural tense all focused on reducing it all to the final fight between good and evil as the world moves through salvation.

"A Story Told" jumps directly into realms of darkness and into the mouth of Radix Malorum, the root of all evil narrating a story older than the creation of the world. Nathaniel Salvatore, a young man who has never even heard the word demon, is exposed to demons and angels and Satan. He then turns into a survival issue of the protagonist whose faith is threatened with the specter of death following him. His doom is as certain as death, and still the reader is moved at every turn, at each ounce of strength the man fights for his life and his humanity. Despite keeping the organism’s emotions more to their bare essentials and not delving very deep into the performance art of acting, the sheer struggle is evident – and Nathan’s fight is a victory of spirit.

A cliffhanger ride with no ease of patience from demons and Hands of Angels do not seem to let off a bit as Nathan stretches himself to meet the ultimate test.
Beyond this novel putting out voice and struggles for the eternal battle that has existed between good and evil, it beats up your heart at every turn of pages.

Chris LoParco’s book "A Story Told" reports a breathtaking story based on Radix Malorum, an ancient mortal who is an associate of Satan. The Radix has been killing people important to Satan for two centuries, and so, Nathaniel Salvatore is his next victim. Nathan is the hinge on which the future of Radix depends. Meanwhile, Nathan has to endure unbelievable tests and a battle with both Heaven and Hell’s agencies while the only way to overcome Radix is to wait with him, till the New Year 2001.
In this intense story there’s an evident integration of biblical motifs, spirituality, the concept of sin and evil in the conflict between life and death that is LoParco’s trademark.

It is an intriguing story which shows the fight of people against their fate.

The character of Radix Malorum in "A Story Told" is an epitome of evil; whoever did a Faustian deal with immortality as his/ her punishment. For every new century he has been required to eliminate people who may pose as a threat to Satan’s plan The year 2000 identifies Nathaniel Salvatore as Radix’s target and thus challenges Nathan to a duel to death. The book also deals with determinism and free choice; Radix as an example, is an unyielding hired slaughterer to whom death is an alien concept. Nathan has only a slim hope of coming through alive to the year 2001 when a break in the back of Radix’ curse would be made. Packed with meetings between the forces of the heavens and the forces of evil the book is an exciting and very metaphysical struggle against overwhelming evil.

Nathaniel Salvatore doesn't know this trip he is embarking on is going to be his last while strolling down the streets in the year 2000. LoParco weaves a suspenseful supernatural yarn as Nathan is pursued by both divine and infernal forces.
The stakes are impossibly high: if Nathan makes it through to 2001, then Radix's soul is destined to suffer. It's an adrenaline ride-it goes so fast-and a commentary on destiny, survival, and faith.

"A Story Told" is a supernatural thriller where the protagonist is Nathaniel Salvatore who l, ‘The Assassin: As a tale of supernatural thriller, the power of main character, Nathaniel Salvatore is juxtaposed with the immortality possessed by Radix Malorum, who is in the service of Satan. Powers are deals which require Radix to risk promises of invincibility for his life force to ensure he kills all those beings who made the Devil fearful; thus comes Nathan in the new millennium. The book explains a story of angels, demons and deadly fate about Nathan and this links to the analysis. If Nathan survives in 2001, Radix will be forever in Hell, but the way out to repentance is slender. Thus the conflict is staged and what is at issue is human fate.

The story of Radix is a story all hell bound having sold his soul to gain eternity and the lives of many souls. Readers can observe how brave it is in Nathaniel to show himself against such evil. This conflict between Radix hell bound for Gotjish, and Nathaniel’s faith is heart touching portrayal of man’s continual struggle for meaning. Adding the angels and demons – makes the story go to the more physical level while the philosophical battles let the readers face the concept of destiny, belief and choice.
