Drake was in heat. He had been fighting it since he was fourteen. Finding his mate had become an imperative task. The pain he suffered without her was almost unbearable. He feared what he might do if he lost control. His father, twin brother and uncle decide to take him to the gathering. It is a cross between a huge rave and an orgy where shifters in their prime go to find someone to court. The lucky ones find their true mate and claim them. Others find their mate and fight for them. He knew that if he did not find her soon, he would have to embark upon a journey. He would hunt for her before the heat became completely unmanageable and he became a danger to others. His father could use his mind gifts to calm him and take the edge off. It was one gift among many admirable traits that gained him the respect of his sons. He had learned of Drake’s recurring dream through one of these mind searches. Drake had been dreaming about a girl for years, he could see her and almost smell her. He kept telling himself that she was not real. That it was just a dream. Or was it?

About the author

Jaden Sinclair is the mother of two boys, married for thirteen years and has lived in Kansas most of her life. Her family supports her writing dream and are amazed at how vivid her imagination is at times.

She dreams up most of her ideas and writes every one of them down, making sure that one day her characters will get their own book. With so many new books coming to her almost daily it's a wonder at times she ever gets anything done. One of the interesting things that Jaden does with her writing is that she can always work on more than one book at a time.

In her spare time, when she can escape from the computer, Jaden knits and reads. But it's her love for writing as well as taking care of her family that keeps her the most busy.
