Awakening sleeping Giants is never a good idea... Especially in the World of Magic.
Four agonizing months have passed since Damian descended into the Dark Nav. Cut off from everyone he holds dear, he grows more impatient by the day. But when the alarm goes off in Chernobog’s castle, alerting him of an attack on the underworld, his resolve reaches a breaking point.
He’s done waiting. He’s done being a pawn in someone else’s twisted game.
Determined to get to the heart of the matter, Damian breaks his orders and leaves the Dark Nav just to find Arizona engulfed in magical mayhem. A supernatural storm raging all over the world, unleashing death and destruction. The warriors of Light can no longer control the unrest and prevent the bloodshed. The Doomsday Clock is showing a minute to midnight, and to make things worse, Four Horsemen have summoned their steeds and are ready to ride.
Fully aware of who stands behind this deadly chaos, Damian decides to strike first and hard. With his brother by his side and aided by an unlikely ally with secrets of his own, he must take the final stand against a powerful enemy hellbent on destroying the world.
As a Destiny Enforcer, Damian has fought and won many battles. But can this unlikely trio stand their ground against the entire Horde of Darkness? In the face of overwhelming odds, do they have what it takes to win this war?

N.M. Thorn currently lives in South Florida with her husband and son. Owner of a digital marketing agency by day and a writer by night, she loves spending her times creating new worlds, paranormal planes of existence and anything that could be described as supernatural.
When she is not busy working with everything digital or exploring fantasy worlds, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, painting and martial arts.
When I saw NM Thorn’s announcement of a new book in Damian's saga, I downloaded it immediately and didn’t stop reading until the last page. Ms. Thorn is a rare author whose writing is just like chocolate - you can’t stop reading after a few pages.
Complete with intrigue, The Shadow Wrath is a non-stop adventure beginning where the last book left off. We find Damian, as usual, struggling to save existence in the Dark Nav. With a new character from the darkest of places, Damian and Cole work to save the world from an old enemy.
This book answers many of the questions from the series in an authentic way that is not rushed or contrived. It’s rare when the ending of a series affects the same, if not more so than the beginning of one. When you remember where Damian was at the beginning of The Shadow Enforcer to where he ends up in The Shadow Wrath, it’s an extraordinary journey for this small part of his eternal journey.
One of Thorn’s many talents is how she explores the bonds of love and loyalty between the characters, not only those of blood relation but those of choice. I can’t wait to see her subsequent work, whether it be for Gunz or Damian or someone new!
I have finished this series and am throughly satisfied with it. Thank you Mrs. Thorn for an amazing journey through your world. I cannot recommend this series enough. I loved it and to anyone who has not read this -what are you waiting for?
Absolutely loved this book! It's a wonderful end to a fantastic series. I laughed and screamed and cried and yelled. NM Thorne has done it again, and I cannot wait to see what they come up with next!
The story, worlds, crazy plot, intense battles, this book deserves 4 stars.
HOWEVER, I have never had so much trouble getting through the entirety of a book. The author's EXTREME overuse of the word sparkle (in plural, a verb, adverb, adjective) was off-putting. Every time I came across the word, I had to quit reading for a while to suppress my irritation. If you happened to look up the number of times this word is in this book in some form or other, it's insane. Also, when under extreme duress, the characters would often just sit back and observe for what seemed to be an excessive period of time. This is especially true for characters who are 1000 years old and who have literally been through hell. Why do they freeze in moments when they're needed most, causing additional casualties while they're gawking, their bodies filling with feelings of doom and dread. Maybe the other books were just as bad, and it took me this long to notice. I'm just happy I finished it.
Good luck... Don't forget your sparkles (maybe some glitter... so we have another word to use to envision portals).
