I spent some time -- years, actually -- working with the IETF on various Internet standards, particularly IEEE 802.x, the standard for wireless communications. I reviewed and read many resources and sources, and while this book came along a few years after I had gotten involved, it was still one I read with interest, almost as an after report of some of the stuff I worked with various experts on. Not the best, in my opinion, but not bad either. Naturally, obsolete by now. Still, for basic historic purposes, recommended.

Gr8 book if you have good mathematical background..... Used it in my graduate learning, helped me understand lot of topics
