Asher Aldridge became my enemy the day he decided to steal my gym.
It doesn’t matter how many years I’ve been working as a fitness influencer and trainer, because Asher is friends with the current owner of the gym I need to buy. And it’s very clear the owner wants to sell the gym to his buddy, he’s just trying to give Asher enough time to save up the money.
Asher might be all smiles and good vibes, but the over-muscled lug isn’t fooling me. I’m going to fight for this gym even if it requires a battle to the death.
My death apparently, because the owner has challenged me and Asher to compete in a local trail race—winner gets the gym — and I am not currently in fighting form.
I’m nothing if not stubborn, though, and willing to push through the pain to get what I want, no matter how sweet Asher is to me or how much I’m starting to like his face.
Katharine Sadler lives with her husband in North Carolina. She’s been writing since she was ten and has wanted to be a writer even longer. When she’s not writing or otherwise gainfully occupied, she reads like it’s an addiction, exercises, skis whenever she gets the chance, and adds more books to her Amazon wish list.
Personal trainer and fitness influencer Clover Weston moved to the small town of Catalpa Creek with her sisters to fulfill the terms of their late father's will, which requires them to live there for a year in order to receive their inheritance. Now that they've made it almost halfway through, Clover's starting to plan for what comes next. She knows she wants to stay in Catalpa Creek but her social media growth has stagnated, so she'll need an additional source of income. When she learns that local gym owner Russell is planning to retire and has put his business up for sale, she's sure it's the perfect solution. The problem is that Asher Aldridge, one of Russell's current employees, is also interested in buying the gym. Even though Asher hasn't yet saved enough money for the purchase, Clover fears that Russell is leaning towards selling to him. Neither Asher nor Clover is willing to give up without a fight, so Russell, tired of being caught in the middle of their bickering, proposes a contest: whoever has the better time in an upcoming trail race wins the right to buy the gym. As the competition heats up (in more ways than one), a surprising twist results in them becoming training partners and more. Their feelings begin to grow, but will a secret from the past prevent them from building a future together?
The first two books of this series were fantastic, but "Charm and Conquer" was my favorite one so far! The overall tone was light and fun and there were plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, but there were also aspects of Clover and Asher's backstories that broke my heart. The author did a tremendous job of balancing the emotion with humor and making me empathize with them both. I loved the sparkling, witty banter and how perfectly Asher and Clover complemented each other, as well as the clever way they solved their conflict in the end.
I highly recommend this funny, sweet, and heartwarming story for all contemporary romance and romantic comedy fans. I am very much looking forward to the next book in the series.

This is the 3rd book in this fascinating series and this is Asher and Clover's story. This is a well written emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, engaging and realistic characters, witty banter, humour, challenges, intrigue, undeniable chemistry, and love which all leads to an entertaining, and steamy addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Charm and Conquer is the third book in the Sanctuary series. It is an enemies to lovers, small town contemporary romance featuring Clover Weston and Asher Aldridge.
Like her sisters, Clover is living in Catalpa Creek in order to access her father's inheritance. Unlike them, she has a list of names her father conned in the Catalpa Creek area and intends to use those funds to pay back their losses.
Asher has only recently returned to Catalpa Creek. He's trying to be a better son and brother for his family. He's missed a lot in recent years, and wants to make amends. Asher's father is one of the people who was misled by Mr. Weston, and while his family doesn't hold Clover accountable, they don't trust her for a minute.
Both Clover and Asher are vying to purchase Fighting Fit Fitness from the current owner, Russell. They have different visions for the gym's future, and only one of them can take over. As Russell can't decide who to sell to, he is making them both compete in a trail race, and the winner will be able to purchase the property.
Clover and Asher are immediately at odds with one another but as they end up spending time together to train for this race, they can't help but acknowledge their mutual attraction. Their lust blooms into undeniable love, although Clover resists feeling culpable for her involvement in his family's loss.
This was another fun book in the Sanctuary book. I enjoyed Clover's strong will and determination. She is relentless in pursuing her goals. She also has a very prominent moral compass that she uses to guide her, but also has embraced her own false beliefs. As for Asher, I enjoyed how this man learned from past mistakes and chose to change. His family is his highest priority, and his view on love comes from them.
I'm glad there are so many Weston sisters as it is always a hoot to read their small town love stories. The push/pull in this one was delicious, and the bonus Bigfoot sightings were hysterical. I'm already looking forward to book 4 - Pretend & Propose - about Daisy and Noah! It is sure to be delightful and entertaining, like all the books in this series. I recommend picking up a copy for yourself!
Charm and Conquer is book 3 of the Sanctuary series, stories about daughters that must live in their childhood home for a year in order to get their inheritance. Clover is a yoga instructor and influencer that is "stuck" in her career. She's hoping to buy the local gym that is for sale and broaden her clientele. Asher is a personal trainer at the gym who also wants to buy it to give himself a solid future for himself and his family. When the sale of the gym comes down to who wins a trail race, the competition heats up in more ways than one. Both of the MCs suffer from guilt for past issues (Clover and her father/Asher and his bad boy self). They are both so similar, but consider themselves as polar opposites. This enemies-to-lovers gem is funny, heartwarming, spicy, and has baby goats! We also catch up with the other sisters and Daisy finally moves in. I'm looking forward to her and Noah's story!!.

This is the third book in the Sanctuary series and like the previous two, it does not disappoint! This time it's Cover and Asher's turn. This enemies to lovers story, they both want to buy the gym in town and have to compete against each other to win it. While they recognize there is an attraction, Clover tries to resist as she feels much guilt over what her father had done to the townspeople years before and her role in it and wants to make amends. Asher wants to start fresh and the gym (and maybe Clover) is as fresh as it gets. There is hilarious witty banter, baby goats, Bigfoot sightings and some yummy love scenes that don't take over the story and appearances with the rest of the sisters as well. I love that it's not just a love story for Clover and Asher, but a story of forgiving oneself, others that may not deserve it (but is best for their own healing) and reconnection with family. I can't wait to see what happens with the next sister!!
Third in the Sanctuary series, this book has so much tension, banter and goats! I enjoyed the interactions between these rivals.
Clover and her sisters have been tasked to live in Catalpa Creek for a year to get their inheritance from their father. Clover also feels tremendous responsibility to a group of people her father conned. Asher's family had been one of those affected, which causes strain in their interactions. Adding to this is the fact that both Asher and Clover want to buy the gym in town. The owner decides to make them compete for it - in a trail race.
Spending time together while training introduces a new problem - intense attraction!
I enjoyed this book so much. i adore banter...and goats. I'm looking forward to the next sister's book!.

Asher works as a trainer in the local gym and Clover teaches yoga back at her gym. A stipulation in her fathers will says all three daughters must stay in town for a year to receive their inheritance. She decides she wants the gym that is for sale but Asher also wants to buy it. New stipulation from owner - trail race and you both need to train together first. The characters go through random feelings until they start to know each other. Chemistry and entertaining situations ignite something deep. The storyline runs well with drama, fun times, good banter, changes in emotions, and steamy moments. The ending is terrific and brings it all together.

An amazing third book of the the series . Clover is a yoga instructor and wants to own the gym that is for sale in Catalpa . When Asher a personal trainer and employee of the gym is the one who also wants to buy the gym she immediately hate him . When the owner of the gym makes them compete in a local trail race and the winner gets the gym , they both have to practice becoce its not what they are good at . So they spend time together and when her knee gets hurt he is there for her . They maybe compete for the same thing but he is falls for her .

I found this book to be charming and sweet. Both main characters were lovable. I especially liked the male main character, who wanted something more than physical. The steamy scenes were hot, but not overwhelming the plot.
There was a side story centered around Bigfoot that I had a bit of trouble integrating into the rest, but it gave a little humor and absurdity (which I like) to the story.
Overall, I would recommend this book. It was well written, easy to read, and had good character development through the story. I will look forward to reading more books by this author.

I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a complimentary copy. Clover and her sisters have have to stay and live in Catalpa Creek for 1 year in order to receive their inheritance from their dad. Clover is a yoga instructor and social influencer and she wants to buy Fighting Fit Fitness but there a person standing in her way, Asher. The owner of the gym has pitted Asher and Clover against each other, whom ever wins a race can buy the gym. Asher and Clover train together for the race and end up getting to know each other better and fall for each other. Who will win the race Asher or Clover? Will they walk away from each other after the race is done?
Charm and Conquer is my favorite book in the Sanctuary series so far. In the first 2 books Clover seemed so put together. But this book gave more insight into her struggles and insecurities. I really admired Clover and Asher was just perfect for her. They went from enemies fighting for the same gym, to frenemies with benefits, to finally lovers. Fun rom-com with witty banter, sisterly love, a cute baby goat, and a reclusive big foot. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Clover is a yoga instructor who is very interesting in buying the gym that will be for sale. She is upset to find Asher Aldridge, a personal trainer employed by the gym also wants to purchase it. He is friends with the owner and she is afraid that will give him a better advantage.
The owner puts them both in a competition running a trail race with the winner getting the option to buy. How does the race turn out for them? Who will get the gym they both want? Will they settle for a HEA?
You can always count on Katharine Sadler for a solid read! All her books are full of banter, humor, hot times, and loveable characters. I have been reading her for almost two years and know the high standard she has for her writing, but this is book stands up as literally THE BEST and that is a statement I never thought I would make. Everything about this books just spoke to me and made this book real for me! I am in a total book hangover right now.

I had a delightful time reading this charming story as opposing characters fight their attraction to one another. As they are repeatedly bumping into one another, I love their banter, comical competition and the heart of their mutual attraction. Very diverting, I enjoyed getting to know them in a deeper way. New to me author, definitely looking forward to finding something else to dive into. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Asher and Clover are amazing together. Such a compelling enemy couple. Seeing Clover up close you can feel how hurt she’s been by their father and what she’ll do to make things right. Asher is driven, but his laid back and friendly personality is what Clover needs. I loved watching them realize their feelings for each other and seeing just how much they care.
It always interests me to note an idea or plan that is obvious to me but isn't clearly obvious to others. In this case, that's Clover and Asher. I saw from the very beginning the resolution to their problem, but it took them the whole book to get there! Lol! Daisy & Noah Marigold & Henry (Max) Dandelion & Grant Honey & Jaxon? Clover & Asher
Another great instalment in the lives of the Weston sisters. A funny, at times heart wrenching, cleverly written story. I love all the main characters as well as the new ones. I am always chuckling to myself when I read these books.
Good, fun read. I love the interaction between Clover and her sisters. Her animosity towards Asher knows no bounds other than her very strong moral compass. Family angst and drama in plentiful supply but with an uplifting feel. Good stuff.
A fab enemies to lovers story for Asher and Clover. They both want to buy the same gym so start to compete against each other. A fast paced story. I liked how it was told from both points of view.
