Ten wyjątkowy album ze zdjęciami prezentuje ikonę kobiecości i stylu lat 50-tych XX wieku! Audrey Hepburn, bo niej mowa, była wybitną aktorką i wyjątkowym człowiekiem. Największą sławę i popularność przyniosły jej zagrane role w „Rzymskich wakacjach”(1957) „Zabawnej buzi” (1957) czy też „Śniadaniu u Tiffany’ego” (1961). Hepburn należała do najchętniej fotografowanych i oglądanych gwiazd. Wywarła znaczny wpływ na kino tamtych lat. Pamiętana i ceniona do dziś, przyczyniła się do ustalenia pewnego kanonu kobiecości.
A Great Collection of Pictures Through the Life Of Audrey Though it was going to be Much better if they Put in Order By Years or By Movies instead of Making it Random Like That
I noticed right away as I flipped through it that photos from some of her movies didn't appear in this book. It's a good thing because the photos are focused more on her life and all the work she did to help others. There are also some facts about her life and movies along with quotes from the many people who knew and loved her. Definitely an enjoyable book to read and look at.
I'm not entirely finished with this book but in all fairness it's a very thick book with short quotes from Audrey and her costars, facts about her personal life and trivia about her movies. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous and it's a book that needs to be read again and again. This is actually my second time reading it but I know it won't be my last!
This book would make a great coffee table book. But the formate for the kindle is not so great. The photos are hare to really appreciate and the quotes are sometimes on a dark background and hard to read. But the book was free and I did enjoy looking.
loved the photos and short quotes. the random order was fun also as it depiticted the ebb and flow of her career and talents. she truly was one of a kind!
The title says it all - a photographic celebration! While I could just keep looking at Audrey's pictures, the even better part is the positivity she exudes.
Beautiful pictures of extraordinary Audrey, from all her movies and her work for UNICEF. “I have to be alone very often. I'd be quite happy if I spent from Saturday night until Monday morning alone in my apartment. That's how I refuel." A.Hepburn
