Interior designer, Anna Davis has spent three years developing her career. When she is hired by Vincent Lane and his fiancé Bronwyn to redesign their new bookstore, Anna sees this as an opportunity to catapult her career from obscurity into distinction. The last thing Anna needs or wants right now is a man. And Daniel Spears, a friend who is helping Vincent with security for the store, is most definitely a man. One built for long hot nights and seduction. Unfortunately, even though Anna is undeniably attracted to Daniel, she isn’t interested in accidental sex or casual intimate arrangements. Determined not to lose her, Daniel formulates a plan to ensure that he is never far from Anna’s mind… or her body. He’s not going to let anything stand between them, not ex-lovers, intruders, thieves, or even Anna herself. Daniel has waited an entire lifetime to find her and now that he has, he’s never letting go.
This is the second book by E. Kelly that I've read. I am waiting patiently for the third book in the series so that I can buy it. First I want to thank E. Kelly for giving us the books written so far for free. But I will gladly pay for any additional books. Nothing better than reading about some sexy SEAL's to make you dream. There was action, love, and murder. What more could you want in a book. Looking forward to read about the rest of the team!
I liked this book a lot for many different reasons. First of all being her characters. Anna was easy to fall in love with through all she goes through and having an overall optimistic personality that is hard not to like. That kind of character mixed with the sexy, slightly dangerous Daniel, who is a man used to getting exactly what he wants became a great dynamic to read about.
I'm a sucker for a good love story and enjoyed this, but there was too much that was left out. There was an ex-boyfriend issue that never came to a close...and other things that come up and your never hear anything about it again. All in all it was a cute story...but that was about it for me.
This is my first book by E. Kelly. Even though Anna's Strength is part 2 of the Choosing Love series, it is strong enough to stand on its own. There is a short mention about the traumatic event that Bronwyn has gone through but it didn't really affect Anna's story at all.
I loved almost everything about Anna. I loved how committed she was to her friends and her career even though she is always in pain due to her R.A.
I also loved Anna's relationship with her BFF Jac and I loved how quickly they became best friends with Bronwyn.
And I even loved all of the guys as a whole team of friends. But Daniel and his alpha-ness with Anna was a little over the top for me. It just wasn't believable to me to have her go so quickly from being terrified at him because of his anger to accepting that she was going to have a relationship.
Maybe if we had a little more background on Daniel and what he went through in the SEALS, it would better explain why he's the way he is, but I just never felt like I had that.
This is book 2 in the Choosing Love series...... I like how Anna was written as a strong female......
Anna is an interior designer who suffers from arthritis...... She has learned to deal with everything involved with the disorder..... Even dealing with much of it alone thanks to people from her pasts treatment....... Vincent and his fiance Bronwyn hire Anna to design their new shop...... Anna meets good friend of Vincent, Daniel Spears...... Daniel feels a connection with Anna from the start..... but can he deal with her pain and arthritis????? Can Anna trust Daniel?????
Well the guy practically forced herself on her in a creepy and not romantic way AT ALL. There were things that were brought up (like he knew she was taking a bath) without explanation or further development and the bad guy had no motives, we never found out who hired him or why he was hiding and stealing materials from the work site. I felt like she got too caught up with Anna and their romance and sort of left out too many details. =[

I really enjoyed this one. The characters were more three dimensional. I really liked Bronwyn, Anna, and Jac. I adored Daniel/ Preacher, and the rest of the crew. This was a great story! I just loved it. Starting the next one now. I'm addicted in a good way!
It was a typical romance... Nothing angsty, just sweet! The concept was good and I liked the leading Heros enough hat I might read the next book in the series if I remember to... Not bad not great just an overall solid 3.
as with the first book in the series I enjoyed the story....however some of the dialogue once again seemed a bit strange and awkward for me. I liked the characters and plan to read the next in the series to see more of what happens,
Another easy read! Altough the characters are strong I think there are too much similarities between the two books! I just hope that in Jacqueline's Desire the main character would have a different personality & background
A repeat of the plot in "Bronwyn's Stand." And characters. She just changed names- but keep mannerisms, colloquial language, and basic characterization.
