About the author

Joanna Ryder is an award-winning author whose books offer a unique blend of poetry and science. Has a nice flow and wonderful range of vocabulary. Nice touch at the end of the book with a definitions of wings on the animals they talk about in the book. Very nice illustrations.

Great book. Different poems help you decide what type of wings you want. Even had my husband trying to guess what animals wings the poems were trying to describe. The kids loved it too.
