On the edge of space... On the edge of danger... On the edge of desire...
All That Glitters by Erin Kellison
Cheated out of a fortune by the Sol royal family, lowborn Simon Miner will do anything to get his revenge, no matter how ruthless. When Princess Mica Sol, a terraforming expert, is shot out of the sky on the way to her sister’s lavish wedding, she fears the worst—scavengers—and flees into an alien jungle to avoid capture. But the man who pursues and captures her is none other than Simon, her former lover. Passions reignite as violence rocks Sol City, and Simon and Mica must fight for love, family, and their world… or lose everything.
To Buy a Wife by KC Klein
In a harsh land where corruption rules and women are few, cold realist Hudson Land must purchase a wife to save his farm. Instead of an auction, he witnesses the start of an execution. With his first look at a beautiful woman in years, Hudson knows he has to have her—no matter the cost. Lake, a chemist and a rebel fighter, is resigned to her death, but when some back-hill farmer rescues her from the chopping block she has no intention of simply becoming his wife. She’s pledged her life to the Rebellion and being bought for some stranger’s bed doesn’t change a thing, though his soft caresses have her longing for more. As lies and secrets build between them, are the quiet moments during the nights they’ve shared enough to stand against two warring factions in a world where only the strong survive?
Enslaved by Starlight by Jessa Slade
Transformed by empathic crystals into the perfect paramour, Benedetta Galil is the last treasure of her fading world. When raiders attack—seeking to corrupt the crystals and conquer all of charted space—she gives herself as a prize to the one man in the universe who values freedom over power. Mercenary sheership Captain Corso Deynah left oppression behind him on a burning planet and has no use for a sex slave, even one as seductive as Benedetta. But while he stubbornly resists her body, her fierce spirit tempts him, and he will risk everything—his ship, his seclusion, the very stars—to win not just her passion but her love.

3.5 stars - Three SciFi romance novellas and I ended up liking all three, world building is important in scifi stories and all three authors did a good job in delivering well thought out worlds and all three of the romances worked for me too.
All that Glitters by Erin Kellison - The romance in this one has a head start because it brings former lovers back together.
To Buy a Wife by KC Klein - Well, this is a tough one. I ended up liking it but the beginning is rough. This is set in a world where there are very few women and a man who wants to save the farm that has been in his family for generations needs to buy a bride because only married men can hold land. Within the strictures of their society he ends up being a good guy and actually treats her fairly honorably but I was worried at the start.
Enslaved by Starlight by Jessa Slade - I liked the story, but I had issues with all of the q-words related to the heroine's world, and it was one of those scifi stories where there are expressions used by the characters that are 'world' appropriate but always seem sort of cheesy when to me when I read them.

Overall, I really enjoyed this one. Having never read anything by Erin Kellison, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect, but the fast pacing, captivating world-building, and delicious chemistry between the protagonists quickly had me hooked. As of right now, this story is a standalone, but I for one am sincerely hoping that it is expanded on in the future. 4.5/5 Stars
To Buy a Wife by KC Klein
Author’s Website: http://www.kckleinbooks.com Part of a Series: Set in the same world as Dark Future Series Best Read In Order: Probably, but worked well as a standalone. Steam Level: Hot
I’m a huge fan of Ms. Klein’s universe from Dark Future, so I actually picked up this anthology for this story alone. One thing I love about her writing is that she’s not afraid to push the limits of what might be “comfortable” to read, and instead explores the very dark side to what is turning out to be a very intriguing dystopian world.
While it was a bit painful for me to read the love scene due to the exhibitionism and forced nudity, I know that this was intentional — this world is not supposed to be comfortable, and it’s absolutely not. Women are treated as commodities and possessions, corrupt leaders (called Elders) control absolutely everything, and the individual people in society are left quite powerless. It’s a world that is absolutely ripe for revolution, and I’m highly anticipating future installments to the series.
I have never had the pleasure of reading any of Jessa Slade’s books before, but I can promise you, this novella will not be my last. I wasn’t quite sure, going into this story, whether or not it would be something I would enjoy — after all, “trained” lovers simply aren’t my thing in romances. However, I’m very glad I gave it a chance, because I soon fell not only for Corso and Benedetta, but for the entire world Ms. Slade had created. Full of subtle nuances and a horrifying betrayal, Enslaved By Starlight was easily one of my favorites in this anthology. 4/5 Stars – All three of these stories were well-edited, and none of them had a stereotypical “indie” feel to them, even though they were technically self-published. I know that a lot of readers tend to shy away from self-published titles for this reason, and wanted to reassure my readers that all three of these stories were high quality, not just in their storylines, but also in the technical aspects as well.
I highly recommend this anthology to any fan of sci-fi romance — all three stories were fast-paced, full of beautiful world-building, and highly romantic.
I don’t know what makes a great Sci-Fi story, but if the author has me believing in the world they created then that is a win in my opinion. I am going to give my thoughts on each individual story for this review.
All That Glitters was by far my favorite in this collection, it is no secret I love the way Kellison writes. I think this was her first attempt at Sci-fi and she hit it out of the ball park. There is the perfect balance between world building detail, story, and romance. There never was an info dump and it all flowed seamlessly together and I felt as if I had visited Sol. This is a complete story with well-developed likable protagonists, secondary characters, and multiple storylines. I would say Kellison has the formula for a novella perfected. This is the second novella of hers that I have read and I can say the same for her other one, Shadow Touch, too. Yeah, I am a fan girl, but with good reason. 5 Sheep
To Buy a Wife was another well written story with characters with whom you could connect. This story had less world building and focused more on the development of story and characters. I was a little turned off by this story but not for any fault of the author. It just bothers me that the heroine is so independent and yet still craves to be owned by the hero. This isn’t unreasonable since this way of life is all she has ever known, but it still irked me. To Buy a Wife didn’t have a whole novel experience that I found with All That Glitters, but it was more in line with most novellas. A good solid read. 3.5 Sheep
I was never able to connect with the author’s voice or characters in Enslaved by Starlight. I couldn’t find myself caring about the romance and I wasn’t able to buy into the world building. That being said, the hero is a smexy alpha male and you can’t go wrong with one of those. I didn’t like the heroine, but it think that is just personal preference. This story wasn’t meant for me, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t for you. (not going to rate)
So overall a great summer read and a chance to try some new authors at a great price. I can guarantee you will be a fan of Kellison after this though, yeah, I am fan girling again.
Hotter on the Edge by Erin Kellison, Kc Klein, Jessa Slade Hotter on the edge is an anthology that include the stories All That Glitters by Erin Kellison, To Buy A Wife by KC Klein, and Enslaved By Starlight by Jessa Slade. Hotter on the Edge is a really cool book for any paranormal/fantasy fan. Of course there is romance to be found but above all there is strength, action, and a whole lot of fun. All That Glitters by Erin Kellison snagged my attention because I have a thing for reunited lovers and Erin did a fabulous job bringing Mica and Simon back together again. I really had a great time being a part of her unique world, it never ceases to amaze me how much detail a fabulous writer can bring to life so quickly. To Buy A Wife by KC Klein really fascinated me before I even read it, I mean how do you not read a story when its lead male and female have the names Land and Lake? Already my interest was peaked. A couple who's political interests lay on opposite sides of the Rebel chain. Opposites attract once Hudson saves Lake from an execution and buys her as his wife. Even though they both seem quite innocent and virginal, there is more to both of them than meets the eye. Enslaved By Starlight by Jessa Slade reaches into the emotional vein and touches into something deeper. Corso and Benedetta rally together against the destructive raiders seeking power above everything else. The clash of their two personalities win quite a lot of laughs as well as quite a few heart warming scenes. Despite Corso's stubbornness Benedetta really seems to bring out a softer side of him once he lets down his emotional barriers. I love the clash of minds and wit Jessa brings together so well. Hotter on the Edge is sweet, fun and explosive rolled into one. An absolutely fantastic read you can't go wrong!
A romantic story that combines action, conspiracy, the discovery of personal needs and of course, a super sexy space mercenary! The story began with Corso, the captain of the Asphodel, being waking up by a call from a stunning stranger, Benedetta, who ask him his help to save her planet. What a great way to start a day!
Benedetta is what we can call a sex slave, but from her point of view, she's one of the last treasures of her planet. Giving herself to Corso in payment for his hard work, the captain is intriguing but no willing to keep a sex slave. Benedetta finds her way to get the captain, his ship and his crew to help her out, but at what cost?
The story was really interesting and different from what I read (well so far from ''other space paranormal romance''). The way the author, Jessa Slade, introduced her characters, her story with humour and sexy exchanges between Benedetta and Corso, so I give my candy love for they relation! I really enjoy reading and discovering this new world: Benedetta's lives on a planet were people are ''matched'' with a patron by the crystal they wore. Once they are together, the ''sex slave'' will developed feelings and will do whatever the patron needed be satisfies. I appreciate the characters and the fast-paced storyline. I never wanted to put it aside. I dive into this new world and I was able to see it in my mind! I love all the descriptions and details around the rituals on Benedetta's planet.
I recommend you this novella, for its price, you really should buy it; it worth the payment and this is only for the third story from this book! This one should be on your TBR pile!
Having received this book as a gift in exchange for an honest review, the following is an accurate account of my opinion.
Three authors whose writing ability enhances and promotes each other’s. An astoundingly good read!
‘All that Glitters’ is fast paced and energetic with readers being so engrossed they will lose track of time. Erin Kellison develops characters and other worlds that are fantastically detailed and charismatic to read about. The interactions between characters and themes flow easily from start to finish and leave a reader wanting more.
‘To Buy a Wife’ is based on a harsh planet where woman are purchasable. A concept that rocks a story that is exceptionally addictive, with ingenious twists and turns that keeps the reader hooked. An excerpt of a follow up story, inserted at the end of the book, entices the reader to continue with the KC Klein imaginative novels – I will definitely be continuing.
‘Enslaved by Starlight’ is the final novel in this anthology but definitely not the least. Absorbing crystals causes a saleable mutation, making certain ‘survivors’ slaves, an astounding trip into a fantasy world from Jessa Slade. The connection between characters and storyline hold the reader spell bound and with such dramatic interactions keep the reader submerging themselves into another world through this story.
All that Giltters: Within the first two pages of All that Glitters, Erin Kellison creates a vivid world, establishes sympathy for a "criminal" protagonist and gives the reader an understanding of the larger forces that will be at work through the novella. Every page thereafter is equally thrilling. Readers will cheer for the kick-ass heroine and complex hero while the story weaves it's way through themes of family, politics and class-ism.
To Buy a Wife: "He didn't make the rules, he just survived them" In To Buy a Wife, KC Klein creates a brutal world begging for love and hope--and then keeps her reader on the edge of her seat, desperate for the honorable hero and much-maligned heroine to survive and thrive. Readers will cheer as tenderness blossoms and trust and love begin to transform this world of extremes, leading the couple to a brighter future.
Saved by Starlight: Jessa Slade creates a world that is richly sensual...and threatened with complete annihilation. When the heroine enlists a hunky mercenary with a haunted heart for help, what she receives in return are possibilities for love and life she never dreamed possible. Emotional and powerfully moving--this story of constant surprises will enthrall.
I picked up this book because I liked Jessa Slade's Marked Souls series. Oh, and I got a discount card to download it for free. :) All I can say is Wow! All three stories in this book are great. I don't read science fiction very much but these were still good. It's not like it was Star Trek, more meaningful.
I must admit, my favorite story was the one by Kellison, All that Glitters. I really loved the character of Mica. But the other two, Enslaved by Starlight by Slade and To Buy a Wife by Klein were equally good. All of them had great world building and unique relationships.
I heard they were doing another anthology together. I sure hope so. I want to read it now.
There is usually a weak link in most anthologies, one story that pales in comparison to the rest, but all three stories in this anthology were very strong. I've never heard of KC Klein before and Erin Kellison & Jessa Slade are continually underrated. While the endings were a tad rush, for the most part, the stories fit the novella format admirably well. Erin Kellison's story reminded me of why I made such a big deal over Shadow Bound and Jessa Slade's contribution, "Enslaved by Starlight," makes me feel guilty I haven't read beyond book two in her Marked Shadows universe.
Review Copy Provided by Publisher Through NetGalley Three stories with three things in common, they have great world building, they have great characters and they made me want more, more hot scenes and more romance. Luckily there is a follow up, out now, called Hotter On The Edge 2 and I am so going to read it :D
Three very enjoyable Science Fiction Romance novellas. I liked all three. Each story is filled with conflict and has a strong female and a strong alpha male. None of the setting are the same and each story has a unique plot. If you like SFR pick this one up.
Pros: This anthology has a great mix of stories, each with good creativity, interesting premises, and diverse characters. I enjoyed the settings and the love stories.
Cons: I enjoyed all three novellas, so the only negative, if I'm nitpicking, is that none of the stories were so outstanding that they're liable to stick with me in years to come. Still, I thought this was a good, entertaining anthology.
Three Sci-Fi/Fantasy novellas, three authors, all with romance as a major theme.
All That Glitters features the idea of corporate "royalty," so that the wedding of Mica Sol's sister is a major Event, for which she must return to the planet. I found the first chapter somewhat confusing, much world-building description packed densely together. As Mica flees the scavengers to avoid being held for ransom, and her former lover realizes it was HER ship his Robin Hood band shot down, we know a steamy reunion is coming, and it does. As the story progresses, the details are better sprinkled among action, and there were many parts I loved - that Mica is painting her toenails with the ship on autopilot, the small flying media cameras that buzz around each event and personality in the capital like huge electronic mosquitos. The romance is great, the lovers each likeable and capable, and the bond between sisters Mica and Pilar a nice touch.
To Buy a Wife is a futuristic dystopia reminiscent of The Handmaid's Tale, set in almost medieval times - men are in charge, women are possessions, but for whatever reason, also rare. There is electricity powered by personal generators, but no grid; people travel by foot or by horse, but there's also a portal to a parallel world from which fuel and other items can be brought. Microbiotics cure or prevent illnesses, and can also reverse aging, and are another item in short supply.
Lake, the heroine, is sentenced to execution for being caught using a computer (why, if wombs are so precious and rare, wouldn't they just chop off her fingers?); Hudson sees her and claims her as his wife. Despite not even having seen a beautiful woman in ?years?, he is a super-patient husband, superlative lover, operates a large farming complex and can easily track down his runaway wife. The story really took off when they began working together, and the tattooing scene is HOT.
Enslaved by Starlight uses another pseudo-princess using her wiles to enlist mercenary captain to help save her planet, under imminent attack by raiders. Some nice touches, like the crystal ?dust? embedded in the skin of the l'auralya in sensual swirling patterns. I liked Etta and Corso, and their romance was steamy, but the story itself... dragged a bit. There were a lot of cliche characters, from the old wise teacher/authority figure, to the secret traitor, to the greedy baddies who wanted to capture the planet crystals so they could rule the Galaxy, mwuh-ha-ha-ha. It was well-written, but there were few surprises.
As a complete collection, I did enjoy it. There is a second volume, with additional stories by these authors, about these characters, however, each novella here stands alone and has its own Happily For Now.
Three novellas that are in a fantasy setting, but explore the same topic. How quickly you can fall in love with someone who pushes your buttons. Authors Erin Kellison, KC Klein and Jessa Slade, each have their own unique style of taking you on the voyage in a sizzling, exciting and new way. In "All That Glitters" Mica Sol is part of a royal family. She doesn't really want to be. She wants to explore the planet. She goes away to do just that. Then her sister contacts her to let Mica know she's getting married. On her way back home, Mica literally falls for her ex Simon. They go through a lot, but in the end realize they were meant to be together. "To Buy a Wife" is set after the global war. Hudson Black Creek witnesses a female being beheaded. When they bring the second female prisoner to be beheaded, Hudson is immediately taken by her. Without realizing it, he speaks up to save her. Lake is to be executed because she was found with a personal computer. They must learn to get along and might fall in love too. " Enslaved by Starlight" finds Corso Deynah lounging on his ship. His spaceship. Suddenly he is contacted by someone. Benedetta Galil asks for his help in saving their planet. Her planet is home to some very special crystals and pleasure slaves. Reluctantly, Corso goes to the planet to see what they expect him to do. If he succeeds, his payment will be Benedetta herself. Even though he declines the payment, Corso is drawn to Benedetta. From here anything could happen.
I LOVED the premise for this set of books. To think someone is terrible and then fall in love with them is wonderful. The chemistry between them is undeniable from the beginning, but it takes something drastic to realize what they mean to you. The stories are full of heat and excitement. You'll want this book on your shelf.
I didn't find anything wrong with any of them.
I gave this one 5 out of 5 books because it was a fun read.
This collection of three stories, all by different authors, presents three very different speculative/romantic science fiction stories.
The first story, "All That Glitters" takes place on another planet. Highborn Mica Sol's ship is shot down in a hijacking/kidnapping attempt. Turns out, the people who shot her down is led by an old flame - what brought him to that state and how will they proceed? The story had a romeo and juliet type of heart and certainly there was some humor thrown in as well.
The second story, To Buy A Wife, is a bleak dystopian type story in which women have little power and are traded as pawns in a pseudo puritan / luddite type of world. Hudson Land comes to buy a wife but ends up with a rebel. He runs the risk of losing everything he has in that bleak world if she won't give up and give in to her new life.
The third story, Enslaved by Starlight, is similar to the first book. In this case, a world calls upon a mercenary to save them from invaders - but he doesn't like the way their system works and certainly doesn't like the idea of being offered a sex slave as a payment.
All three stories are just long enough to create a decent story arc. I was a bit disappointment, though, to see there is a second book out - continuing the stories. I prefer to see a story all in one book - not pieces of 3 stories continually published.
But in all, this is a very decent price on Amazon and has the romantic sci fi and action to keep a reader satisfied.
*ARC from NetGalley and publisher in exchange for honest review*
Rich girl and boy from the wrong side of the tracks, er, world…Mica and Simon play this classic love wrinkle in the far flung future where human(oid)s inhabit different worlds yet the struggle between the haves and have nots still exist on a grander/worldlier stage. I like that Mica is strong-willed and handy enough to determine her own destiny and that Simon loves her because and despite of it. Lots of obstacles but plenty of familial support (on Mica’s side) to see love through. In a different future where technology becomes a forbidden thing and women become property once again, Lake and Hudson begin when Hudson buys Lake from certain death. Lake retains her determination to help progress along (rebellion) while Hudson, strangely attached to his chattel, seems to forgive a heck of a lot. Blackguards and lecherous elders abound but progress and love cannot be stopped. In a Star Trek type future, Corso, a soldier of fortune by necessity (real soldier who refuses to be a mindless drone) is recruited to save a world who specializes in, ahem, special concubines (for want of a better word). Concubines that are specially trained and attuned to their masters that it takes years before one is viable. The only current viable one, this worlds’ current leader, is being offered as part of the payment to Corso… Let’s just say the ensuing battles (both internal and external) provide interesting circumstances for all involved. Though I am not a fan of sci-fi romances, this proved a good anthology. A fast pace read than I managed to finish in three sittings (one sitting dedicated to one anthology). Recommended.
Great read, great stories, great writing. Torn characters, compelling conflict, sensuality and character growth. Determined heroines clashing with strong heroes. Each novella sucked me into their own individual world, with brilliant world building, heroes to die for. Sci-fi romance at its best. You don't often find that with anthologies there's always one or two that are meh. Not this - all 3 were a great read! If you love sci-fi romance - you will enjoy this anthology. Even if you are a strict sci-fi reader you will find yourself hooked. (I was raised on Asimov, Donaldson, Bradley, McCaffrey etc.) Erin Kellison drew me into a world in conflict, a world that refuses to be tamed and a conglomerate refusing to change. A compelling story of love, power, wealth, greed, technology and evolution. A heroine who isn't afraid to make the hard decisions- a little different to what the hero remembers and vice versa. A couple meant to be together. KC Klein lands you in the middle of a hanging. Where tech is banned women are suppressed and society is oppressed. Our heroine is torn, the hero seems resolute. Peel back the layers and you find hidden depths. Jessa Slade pulls us into a world that needs to change and a battle that if the wrong side wins could see the universe torn apart. A strong hero and a determined heroine. A sensual and intelligent attraction. Their rapport keeps them on the edge and questioning. Visually stimulating and compelling. Great world building.
I really like all three stories in this collection. They were fun, fast reads, perfect for a day by the pool or beach. They were great romantic reads with lots of steamy scenes! I got lost fully in these stories and thought that they were wonderful short reads with a great Happily-Ever-After.
What a surprise to find that they were just teasers for more to come for each couple. This kind of turned me off. Here is my problem with this, I read a great, quick, fun romance and get the nice Happily Ever After and I am feeling pretty good until I read an excerpt from the next book! Not only is it not really a Happily-Ever-After , but in the next book the poor couples are torn apart and need to find their way back to each other all of over again! All three novellas did this. To be told at the end that it is only half the story was a little confusing because I didn't see it coming. I was not happy with this!
I must say I felt kinda tricked! Can we be up front with the reader and let them know that they are more books coming and that this is just a teaser book? If I had known that when I started reading I would have been better prepared to find out that the adventures continue in another book!
I did enjoy the short Novellas in this book but I am not sure If I will read the next book. I just don't want to find out that it does not end happily for the couples or turns into a saga of books!
I had to try a fw times to get this one started. I think it was because I really wanted to read something different and had trouble focusing on this book. Once I got started though, it was a decent book. The 3 authors are very different in style and I was already familar with two of them - but as PNR authors rather than as sci-fi authors. It was a little strange reading someting that different from Erin Kellison and Jessa Slade, but the stroies were still good. K C Klein was new to me. All three stroies had strong protagonists and both the male and female characters were likable and had enough back story to make the short sotries seem longer than they actually were - which is a good thing. Personally, I liked Jessa Slade's story the best, but all three were pretty well done. Sci Fi isn't my personal fav, but these stories were better than many I've read. I wasn't excited about any of them and I really can't say if that's just my personal thing because they were sci fi or if they just didn't go to that next step for me. I did like them and would recommend them (especially for sci fi fans) but I can't say they made 4 stars for me.
Sci-fi meets romance in these three novellas by Erin Kellison, KC Klein and Jessa Slade, and oh boy do these ladies know how to fuse the two.
I’ve always been a big fan of sci-fi and romance but this is the first time I’ve read them together. Convincing worlds, strong characters and steamy sex, all three of these are worth the galactic credits, but to put them in one anthology? Well let’s just say, I’d trade my best wookie for more. And that’s no bantha fodder.
I’ve read Erin Kellison’s Shadow series and can’t say enough about her amazing fantasy novels/novellas. If you haven’t read them, do. Erin easily slips us into the sci-fi world in ALL THAT GLITTERS. I totally bought into the planetary landscape she created, and the romance between Simon and Mica. Would love to read more sci-fi from her.
TO BUY A WIFE by KC Klein and ENLSAVED BY STARLIGHT by Jessa Slade were the first novellas I’ve read by these two authors, but they won’t be the last. Imaginative, witty, sexy and everything I look for in both sci-fi and romance.
This review is only for Enslaved by Starlight by Jessa Slade.
Book Blurb:Transformed by empathic crystals into the perfect paramour, Benedetta Galil is the last treasure of her fading world.
While I enjoyed the story, there was just something about it that did not feel right, I can't pinpoint what it was..it had all the makings of a great read the mercenary hero, the pampered princess the betrayal of one's own people...but something about it fell just a little flat.
I was really impressed with how much world building was created in these short stories. KC's Klein's Buy a Wife lived up to it's title where women were property but men couldn't own (land) property without having a wife, a weird interesting catch 22 world, in which the tramp stamp has a whole new meaning! I was most impressed with Jessa Slade's story, not just because I love jewelry and how she incorporated that as a paranormal element. The story was multi-layered and she gave the hero and heroine their own great character journeys. I have no complaints for a book that gave me three interesting stories for a buck! However, I want to note it for those who question purchasing a "self-pub" book, this book wasn't full of typos and it was nicely edited. They put time and energy into this book and it shows - Thank you!
This science fiction romance anthology is a wonderful compilation of three talented authors' writing abilities. Science Fiction is not an easy genre to write, it takes not only imagination and skill but knowledge of scientific workings to pull it off convincingly. These three authors did it and did it well. HOTTER ON THE EDGE is packed full with action, danger, intrigue, and passion. These three authors have pooled together to create an adventure into science fiction romance that I hope will be repeated again and again. If you love sci-fi and romance then treat yourself to the best of two worlds in one place that will take you out of this world.
I picked up HOTTER ON THE EDGE because I'm a huge fan of Jessa Slade's MARKED SOUL series, and I wanted to see how she would handle a science fiction romance. I was not disappointed in ENSLAVED BY STARLIGHT! Such a great story! Benedetta and Captain Corso - yum! I couldn't put it down and was left wanting more. TO BUY A WIFE by KC Klein, and ALL THAT GLITTERS by Erin Kellison were equally as good. Three mesmerizing novellas. I highly recommend them.
Enslaved by Starlight: 5 stars. This is what I'm looking for in my SF - starships and hazers and moving through space, with strange alien civilizations to explore. That there's also a hot romance is just icing on the cake.
This whole collection is an awesome blend of science fiction stories - both of the hard and soft varieties. And should be a delight to SF readers who like a little love in with their science.
I'm not to much into M/F love stories. This one has three sci-fy love stories and they're not that bad. I have to admit it took me quite some time to get thru this book, but the writing is good. I don't even remember the other two stories, but the third I found myself liking. Very sexy.
