the writing in this book was created during a two week workshop by students of NYC Lab school. this workshop is a place to explore process, a place to grow ideas. the sources of inspiration have been multiple and various; a simple seeing crack in the sidewalk, a conversation on the subway, the lights on Empire State building or a lone blade of grass in the battlefield. the voices are as diverse in tone and content as are their writers.
