Life Lessons

Sometimes we experience the good things life offers. Sometimes it feels as if we've been handed all the rotten apples & can't get relief from nowhere. Darius lost his father at a very young age to murder. He didn't witness his murder but he did see his father's body laying in their front yard. Lost, hurt, and confused, he tries to become a young man but without role model. He ends up making bad decisions that almost cost him his life. Mr. Cohen, a school teacher, understood Darius' pain and bridged the gap needed for Darius to understand that he mattered and someone loved him.
