This is the book that started it all: my obsession with pop-up books. There I was, minding my own business in the used bookstore, for some reason glancing at the shelves in the Children's Books section. This large thin book caught my eye. I took it down, and noticed that there was something odd about it - it had a snap closure! So of course I had to open it. And up popped a globe! With a string running through the center so that it turns on its axis! I was done for. Bought it, and have been buying cool pop-ups ever since.
