Recent conversation with a friend about the label, Feminist, had me pull this off my bookshelf after nearly 35 years. The saddest thing is it all still rings terribly current when O'Reilly cites institutionalized sexism. Sure, some of the stats are out-dated, but the beliefs are still widespread. There are many examples, but take page 173. "Women still have an apologizing problem." She sites a story where she accidentally runs over a woman's foot with a grocery cart and the victim says, "I'm sorry." sound familiar? Watch Button Poetry's Lily Myers - "Shrinking Women" (CUPSI 2013).
