Exiled for existing. Suffering is second nature. As the rejected offspring of two rival species, Aspen has never found a place to belong. Until a trio of dark and dangerous vampires appear unannounced to relocate her indefinitely. With the object of her heart left behind, Aspen must choose between a mentor she's always known, and the new beings she can't help but crave. Pushing her to embrace both monsters lurking within, will Aspen survive the tests that threaten to destroy her and walk away with her heart intact? Or will she permit herself to acknowledge each of those inner monsters might just have mates of their own... Trigger Warning : This vampire/shifter romance contains violence, steam and cursing throughout. Bound by Fate is a series of interlinking standalones. Each is a Why Choose romance, meaning the main female character will have multiple male partners of various supernatural species. These paranormal romances include dark themes, adult content and all conclude with their own HEA.
Maddison Cole is a married mum of two, and a serial daydreamer. As a huge fan of fantasy romance novels for the past 7 years, she has finally decided to put pen to paper (finger to keyboard doesn't sound as poetic) and begin to write her own.
As a child, life was moving around the UK and a short stint in the Caribbean, before Maddison has found herself back in the south east of England where she is now happily settled. With a double award in applied arts and an A-level in art history, Maddison is just your average musical-loving, Disney-obsessed, jive-dancing woman with a dark passion for steamy fantasy books.
Meh. I honestly am leaning more toward a 2.5 but I'm feeling generous today.
I think this book just went on a little too long, and added some POVs that didn't really add too much. We have 5 main characters and then we add in the dad, the old proposed mate, and the sister? I just didn't need that many. I do see the plot movement for the old proposed mate but her dad didn't really add much we didn't get from other perspectives.
Then I also felt we got more detailed fight and kidnap scenes than we did any relationship building. I just wanted more.
Amazing book I loved aspen and her men this book had me crying laughing and blushing I never knew what was coming I wish there was more in aspens story I want to know what comes next
This book was an amazing read that grabbed me and kept me interested and reading until the end. IT moves along at a pace that is perfect for this story, has interesting characters that you want to know and cannot help but love and a story that will not disappoint keeping you reading till the last page. This book is a must read that needs to be on your TBR list, there is no doubt about it.
This supernatural RH is brilliant. Maddison’s use of descriptive words creates a very real image in your mind. Aspen’s ability to overcome the many hurdles in her life to find her true loves and place in the world is fantastic to read. I look forward to the next book, the last chapter from Rowena’s POV leads me to believe it will be equally as enticing.
Why Choose (No MM) No OWD or Pregnancy. Lots of unanswered questions since this is an interconnected series. FMC was likable. MMCs were interesting. This felt a bit rushed. Lots of little time jumps. It could have been much more in-depth but I’m not complaining. Average spice with vampire sprinkles. It was good enough to make me want to read the next book.
Moon Bound by Maddison Cole is a riveting read. Aspen our fmc, a hybrid is absolutely bada** and i thoroughly enjoyed her tale. Maddison Cole brings the steam, spice and action in this paranormal rh romance. I highly recommend you skip adding it to your tbr and just download and read now.
Can’t believe it’s been on my TBR pile for so long
Great book! The heart ache, the betrayal, the passion, I felt them all within the words. I loved it. I felt her immense sadness after realizing she lost part of herself. I also wish there was more povs from Sawyers version, otherwise I thought the multiple povs were pretty balanced. Can’t wait to read the next one!
I loved this book. Aspen is amazing and so are her men. I loved the storyline. I’m looking forward to Rowena’s story and I’d like to know what happens to the supernatural council and the Wolfpack.
This was a good book but the end was kinda !eft open with multiple things left unfinished but some finished not sure if there is gun a be alone I thought it was a standalone, but I do recommend reading if there's more
