This book started me on my journey down the attachment parenting path a few years ago when a woman I knew lent it to me while I was pregnant on my first. it made such sense and it helped me a lot as I think I would have been a much fussier parent and way more of a worrier. This book helped me step back a lot and trust my instincts so I wanted to reread it now that I'm a parent again. I've learnt and read a lot over the last few years, but am glad I read it again and found it just as useful now as in the past
Quite dogmatic for a book ostensibly about being more relaxed. Too many anecdotes about what a wonderful parent the author is, deite the fact her children were both still young at the time of writing. Two stars because the principle seems sound to me.
