Dommage que les corrigés ne soient pas plus explicites et ne donnent jamais la démarche à suivre pour résoudre l’exercice...
A pars ça, c’est plutôt un bon ouvrage

I learned a lot from this easily understandable book. Recommend for students entering the field of material science.

I've read only few books about material science. This was absolutely the best from the bunch.

It's not that dense on information, but it gives you the big picture. Sometimes the even bigger picture than needed for just material selection. More of a "design with materials" book than anything else.
