That point where a series starts become a franchise.
Lara suddenly starts wondering about her family history, and discovers that she has famous family, and inherited her intelligence from Laika, and we add a bunch of new side characters. (And I think after this the spin off "Spy Cat" and "Spy Pups" start up?)

Again, not expecting a lot of accuracy, but...

Also kinda weird, a lot of this is concerned with CFCs damaging the ozone layer, which is quite a retro concern? It came out in 2009, I wonder if kids in 2009 still remember the CFCs panic?

This book is awesome. every time i read, it always surprise me because all of the conflict makes me want to read more and more. especially this one, it was really nice because lara finalky found her dad
