This book is a very helpful introduction to social work. The book highlights many of the current major themes and debates within social work, for example, anti-oppressive practice, assessment, interventions and much more. The authors helpfully give lots of examples and scenarios to ground the theory into real life practice.

Read numerous chapters for my dissertation. provided a good background knowledge on the social work profession.
