I’ve wanted to write books for adults for as long as I can remember but I was too scared to try. One day I decided to be brave and dipped a toe into the bubble bath of romantic comedy with my first novella, Cupidity, and I’ve never looked back. I often try to be funny to be funny, except for when faced with traffic wardens and border control staff. My favourite thing is making people smile.

I’ve tried many jobs over the years, from barmaid to market researcher and I even had a brief flirtation with modelling. These days I am mostly found writing.

I live near London with my grey tabby cat, Portia. We both have an unhealthy obsession with Marmite.

Didn't want it to finish

Really enjoyed part two of Ginas story and didn't want it to finish so soon. Can't wait for part three. Can imagine the seaside town and makes you want to go to Cornwall. A lovely relaxing read which means you can enjoy

Love love it, part 2 to The Picture House by the Sea series has been an absolutely delightful read and highly enjoyable.

I truly felt like I was there in Polwhipple enjoying the scenery, the atmosphere, the yummy ice cream flavours, not to mention enjoying the show and seeing Polwhipple station come back to it's former glory.

There was more mouth watering ice cream flavours to try and they sure did sound yummy, the Good Morning gelato and the Afternoon Tea ice-cream. Just perfect.

Off to read part 3 now, as can't wait to see what develops and happens with Gina, Max, Ben and Rose.

Review: this is the second part in the new series from Holly Hepburn and I literally read this the moment it hit my Kindle! I am loving this series so far and the length of the instalments in the series mean that you can read them during a lazy afternoon or in an evening in the bath-they are a great length and each is a completely story from start to finish.

The characters in this series are great too and by part 2 we are really getting to know them and how they all relate to one another. I'm really enjoying spending time with Gina, she definitely has her head screwed on right. I love the relation ship she has with her grandparents and I really admire her determination. I love the fact that she can come against adversity and will try whatever she can to conquer it. I have also been enjoying getting to know Ben. It is always a little odd when you reconnect with a childhood friend but I am enjoying seeing Ban and Gina's friendship develop and I love Ben's loyalty and sense of right and wrong.

There are two other factors which make this series great, firstly the food. There are awesome descriptions of ice cream and coffee in these books so definitely be warned about that-you will need a decent snack to enjoy with these novellas. And secondly, the eponymous picture house itself. I loved the idea of this old cinema, left to rot and ruin, not being taken care of properly, bringing a community together and coming to life once more. Of course it makes me want to watch all of the films too, but I defy anyone not to fall in love with this cinema.

I highly recommend downloading this series and I can't wait to find out what happens in the next instalment!

After the success of the showing of Brief Encounters, Gina has once again taken the picture house by storm. This time she is showing the classic musical Singing in the Rain. Once again, she is met with trials and tribulations. In the second instalment of the Picture House by the Sea series Gina’s plans get bigger and bigger. She wants to renovate the picture house and return it to its former glory. But she still has the dastardly Rose to come up against along with a love triangle that is fast becoming a love square.

Singing in the Rain at the Picture House by the Sea is lovely. What is really great about this series is that Holly Hepburn has perfectly captured what it is like to live and breathe community spirit. I want to go to the movies in this picture house.

Singing in the Rain at the Picture House by the Sea by Holly Hepburn is available now.

The second book in the series. Thoroughly enjoyed the novella and now fully into it the story and love the characters.

I can't wait for the third one to be released (which I was a free preorder on my kindle) as I wasn't sure after reading the first book whether I was going to enjoy this series as much as I kept comparing it to the star and sixpence set.

I managed to download this one from the library which was even better as it saved me some pennies.
