good book for supply chain management, book stresses on intuition thst comes with experience to take critical decisions when there are situations which do not have simple solutions or have teadw offs rather than using the conventional system based options however modern ERPs do have the maths and physics behind all the calculations if you are good ERP +SCM consultant you can use ERP to its best and have better decision making

This is a difficult book to simplify into a short review. This is supposed to be a summary and guide for managers, but even still it is academic and tries to be fairly rigorous. I liked the frequent reference to developing managers' (and others') intuition about the "natural" behavior of manufacturing organizations. It applies beyond just manufacturing, of course.
