I rather enjoyed working my way through this book over the course of this year. Good book although peppered with some over generalisations in places....

I have to say I feel I already owe a lot of 'Ah ha!' and 'that's a tough lesson' moments to this book ...and I'm only up to the sacral chakra/Aphrodite.
It addresses our need for healing our inner goddess, by going through each chakra one by one and the goddess that represents the energy of that chakra: Lilith, the wild woman, for the root chakra, Aprodite, the lover, for the sacral, and so on. It doesn't just talk though... it offers activities, the symbols of each chakra, scents, flowers, art therapy, movement, dances, and personal lessons from women who have 'gone before'. Each chakra is around a month, though I've taken a little longer, giving you time to live life AND learn the lessons from each chapter.
It clearly is targeting the feminine side... and yet this book is clearly for men as well who need to heal their own sacred feminine. Tanishka is a wise woman and a channel to something amazing... consider putting yourself in her hands with this book. :)
