My world exists in words.

When this wonderful world was opened up to me at a young age, a passionate love of reading developed. I am rarely seen without a book, and at any given time there are at least twenty or more waiting in my “to-read” piles.

And, of course, reading them led to writing them.

For as long as I can remember, I have written stories. Family and friends have patiently listened to my tales and encouraged me when I decided to turn a childhood dream into reality.

Recently, I was fortunate enough to have someone believe in my stories and publish them.

I absolutely love a story with Angels, Demons, And hard decisions to make! Man you think that would spell disaster but in this story there is so much going on that you are instantly thrown into the story and can't put the book down. You have to keep reading until the end because you want no scratch that you need to find out what happens.

I want to thank LA for allowing me to read and review the second book in her trilogy series. When I started reading it I could not put it down. I was so intrigued by Bryan and his trials and tribulations I had to keep reading to find out what happened to him.

The story starts six months after Pursuit. Bryan has gone back to California with his head between his legs and heart broken over Miranda. The love of his life has decided to move on with Bryan and she is happily dating Derek. On his way home from NJ to California Bryan meets a beautiful women Mara. He talks to her so he can get over Miranda and it seems to be working because it is six months later and Bryan is in Mara land. She has moved in with him and he is living his life with her.

Then his best friend from back home is getting married and her fiance suggest using Bryan as the photographer for the wedding. Carrie is a little worried because she has not seen or heard from Bryan in six months. She knows he is still reeling over the lose of Miranda and he definitely does not want to come back home to Jersey and see Miranda. But Carrie's fiance Ni ck is determined to bring Bryan back home under any circumstances because he has a bad feeling that something is going to happen to Bryan if he stays out there in California.

So Nick keeps calling Bryan until he agrees to come back and Photo the wedding. What happens next is a mystery to Bryan and others around him. He is quickly swept up into the past and trying very hard not to run from it. He meets up with Carrie's cousin Cassidy and he starts to feel like his old self but there are other forces out there that want Bryan and will stop at nothing to get him.

What unfolds next is a series of trials and tribulations for Bryan but with someone on his side he can make it or so he is starting to think. What will Bryan do? Will he turn to the Devil and his demonic minions or will he follow The Lord and his Angels? Will love heal his heart and will he be able to give his heart to the one that he truly loves. Your just going to have to read it to find out. You will not be disappointed I promise!

Kept Me Up All Night

The style and voice of this author is out of this world. I'm an avid reader (and author myself) so well written words are definitely a major part of my world. I didn't want to put the book down. If I had of bought the book earlier in the day I would have finished it in one sitting. I fought off the sleep at midnight and pushed through until 3 a.m., not wanting to, but also not having a choice in the matter. Sleep was inevitable. I woke at 8a.m. and grabbed my kindle with a smile a mile wide. I had to know what happened next! Needless to say, I was not let down. Dull moments are nonexistent in this novel. Angels and demons are more real than ever, and the way the author brings them to life with her words, you will never doubt for a second how real they are. I highly recommend this read. Don't miss your chance to be pulled into Cassidy and Brian's unrelenting and impossible world.

I knew before starting Redemption that it was the second book in a series but I had not read the first book.  I hoped that I would not miss out on a lot of back story when reading Redemption and was very pleased to find I could read it without having to worry about the previous book.  There are places throughout Redemption where small bits of past events are explained a little, so any comment or action made from this event was easy to understand.  Redemption manages to stand alone as a single book, but I imagine it follows on well from the previous instalment.
From the minute I started Redemption I found myself drawn into the pages.  The characters were believable and it was easy to feel sympathy for the main character, Bryan, with how he is dealing with the breakdown of his relationship with Miranda.  After being invited to his friend wedding Bryan has to learn how to deal with his emotions as all too soon he will be meeting Miranda head on.  Unbeknown to Bryan, there are angels at work who want to keep Bryan and his friends safe.
There are two characters who stick in my head, one of them is Cassidy, who I loved from the moment I met and loved how she acts around Bryan.  My favourite however is Bryan and I found myself laughing at him, especially when he zones out in the middle of conversations and either doesn't hear what was said, or only realises he was meant to answer when there is a big pause.
I love how the idea of the angels and the stones played a big part in the story, each person had their own angle that guided them and looked out for them, and they were linked with a stone which was how they were 'tied' together.  I really enjoyed getting to see the story develop and unfold before my eyes, not only with the different relationships going one with the characters, but also as Bryan learns more about what is really going on around him and how he plays apart in it.

Overall I thought Redemption was a great read, and whether you have read the previous instalment or not you should give it a try.  The author has created a world that is easy to fall into, a thing which I easily did finishing the book in one sitting, but also characters that are believable and easy to feel the emotions they are feeling.

It seems the publishing market is being flooded with stories of sexy fallen angels these days (I’m not complaining :) but while others have their own twist, Redemption is truly an original! Kuehlke has managed to make a layered and intriguing story line filled with memorable characters to grab the reader, and Redemption is now a favorite of mine!

Redemption is a spin off from Kuehlke’s first book, Pursuit where the main character is Miranda, who is a dreamer of prophetic visions and was staked by something sinister and deadly. Bryan Roemer a former love, and Derek Gainners, the hunky cop, team up to save her and win her heart. In the end she chooses the perfect man for her, who just so happens to not be Bryan.

Now, in Redemption we follow Bryan as his broken heart and sorrow eat away at him. He is living with Mara, a beautiful woman who makes him forget the pain he is in, but he doesn’t know the demonic being she really is. Soon Bryan is called back to the east to help out with a friend’s wedding and the action really begins!

One of the things I liked most about this book was the fact that most of the time the humans did not know what horrible things were going on. Kuehlke gives you a glimpse backstage where the angels are busy at work trying to keep the peace. This how I imagine it is in real life. Do we ever really know all the sinister things at work on earth? I hope it’s because angels are busy watching over us.

Not to long ago I had my own heart broken and found myself truly connecting with Bryan all the way to meeting Cassidy, the love of his life. Now that he has her and finally feels alive again, him and his friends must work with their angels to beat Mara and keep the devil from accomplishing his plan.

The emotions in this book are quick and strong. Bryan and Cass fall in love very fast and they tend to get very sappy and some may be deterred because of this, but I can say that these emotions are all real and raw emotions that us, as humans feel every day, and that is what makes this book so special.

The chapters flip between the different point of views of the characters to make a dynamic and entertaining read for any paranormal romance lover!

I received this book for review from author. At second look I noticed it was a romance and said to myself "yuck" As reading on I started to like the main character Bryan. His world is in turmoil due to his girlfriend leaving him. From this moment hey drags in a demon that is controling his mind. He meets Cassidy who was a friend back in the day. Now he is falling for her but the female demon is not having it. This story is about guardian angels, protecting. A lot of interesting parts in this book and twist. Romance is not my reading style but I was in suspence waiting for the angels and demons to beef it out at the end. 4 solid stars and thats coming from a non-romance reader, and paranormal part was what kept me reading.

Wow! Just wow. LA Kuehlke hit a homerun with REDEMPTION. Although it was not YA, which is what i read most, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was seriously hooked since the very beginning, wondering how this Mara chick would play out in Bryan's story. For a minute... a very short minute, i thought she was worthy of redemption, boy was i wrong!
I haven't read the first book, Persuit, so i was somewhat on a loop when it came to stuff from the past, but even then, Kuehlke gave enough information to fill in the blanks and make this story whole. REDEMPTION was one of those unputabledown books! Until i was done, i had to keep on reading! If you are into Paranormal Romance with a hell of a twist, literally, you must read Redemption! I cannot wait for the next one!

Loved the author's first book PURSUIT and I was not disappointed by this one at all. Kuehlke has an enchanting voice and her work reads beautifully. REDEMPTION focuses on Bryan (who you meet in PURSUIT) and picks up where the first book left off. You learn more about the 'circle' and who the players are in the upcoming battle. The book is a suspenseful battle of wills between demons and angels with touching sweet romance between the main characters. You will not be able to put this one down once you start.

The characters were complicated and very intriguing. I like the whole concept of good and evil. This book had it in spades. The main character was whiny which kind of made it boring but the heroine made up for it.
