I loved this book! It was my first Eliza Gayle book and it was excellent. It was a sweet, funny and easy read. I really liked the characters in the book. Daisy, the jaguar shifter, was feisty and sweet and her lovers, Trent and Seth, where sexy, funny twin cougar shifters. Frost Bitten had just the right balance of romance, laughs and emotion. I will definitely be checking out what else Eliza Gayle has to offer.

As the snow fall outside my window, I can easily imagine that I am in Frost Bitten. I am not a winter lover but if I had sexy shifter twins hunkered down in an abandoned cabin with me, like Daisy does, I sure would love it more! Once again Eliza Gayle has delivered a fun, sexy hot read that draws you into the world of cat shifters. I love that her heroine has a strong personality and doesn't need to rely on men. And that she isn't afraid to change them when the right men come along. I love that the men are strong, alpha males, who are determined to win their mate. This sizzling hot book is a perfect read on a snowy day...or a hot one. Cause let's face it; Eliza Gayle is good reading anytime! Go buy the book. You won't be disappointed!

I really enjoyed reading this book! It was hot and sexy! Who wouldn't want to be rescued by the two sexy brother's Seth and Trent! They can help me with my mating heat anytime!
The brothers are in the middle of a snow storm searching for a lost skier, the brothers are literally led by their instincts and have been on the wrong track all along as their inner beasts have been leading them to Daisy, as sexy were jaguar. Don't worry about the original person they were seeking, as the lost college kid does get found, and as Trent and Seth are suppose to head back in, they detour towards a cabin they assume is abandon to hunker down for the night.
Only the cabin isn't abandoned, instead there is smoke billowing out from the chimney and the brothers are compelled to investigate.
Daisy is left her hone in South Carolina to get away from the shifters there, due to her mating heat. She doesn't want to deal with all the complications that are brought on with it. Her family is wants her to mate so that she doesn't have to continuously be in pain and jump the first shifter she sees!
As she is warming herself in her rented cabin she smells trespassers! Just because she's small doesn't mean she can't fight! She's a game warden back home and with that she is always defending her position!
Intruders turn out to be two sexy brothers that are trapped with her in the upcoming storm, and shes promised herself to resist them both, but of course we know that just doesn't happen!
I love the banter between the twins Seth and Trent, its funny and was definitely based out of brotherly love. These two have already figured out that they are going to help Daisy, and even though she refuses, she ends up in their bed.
She wants to mate and have babies, but can she handle that in the type of relationship the two brothers are proposing?
For that reason there, I wish Eliza would turn it into a full length novel so that we can see how the dynamics of the relationship progress!

An oh so yummy read. It was just the thing to warm me up on a winter day :)
Daisy's got the hots, that is, she's in heat. She's a jaguar shifter and is sick of the whole thing. She decides that getting away from the world and holding up in a cabin in the middle of nowhere is a great idea. Until a blizzard comes and she's freezing her butt off, while going through the pain of her unfulfilled sexual needs (needless to say, getting away wasn't the best idea in the world.) UNTIL two decadent twin shifters stumble upon her and warm her up in more ways than one :) But can a jaguar shifter and two cougar shifters make it work?
Frost Bitten was a great short read. Even though it is novella length you still get an idea of who Daisy, Seth and Trent are. Seth and Trent's playful teasing had me giggling and Daisy's short stature but strong attitude made me want to give her a thumbs up. My only problem was the abrupt end. I suppose I'll have to wait and see if these three will make an appearance in Eliza Gayle's future works. Come on Ms. Gayle you can't leave me hanging...............

Entertaining!
Search and Rescue Cougar Shifters Seth and Trent come to the rescue in more ways than one. These two Cougar studs are hotter than any fire lit in the fireplace. Daisy the jaguar shifter hiding out in a cabin and away from society trying to get through her heat cycle never imagined anyone would come upon her until two cougars show up thinking they would rescue her from a winter snow storm, well until her scent hit them. Talking about doubling the rescue. Daisy and the boys stay not only safe from the storm but have their own fire burning as the Cougars ease the painful cramps Daisy has of being in heat. Double penetration seems to be the cure leaving each other with mixed emotions of deciding whether to make a full claiming or moving on thinking Cougars and jaguars didn't mix and going back to their own packs. But the mixture of lust and love is apart of the mating call leading to a mutual understanding of stability and understanding for a future happy ever after.
I enjoyed this short novella, the heat level is a 4 flame.

August 22, 2012I loved this book! There was a lot of good stuff in a short book. The heroes, who are twins but not identical which I liked, were tender and sweet yet super sexy. And I really like Daisy. She was a little spitfire! There were little details that I found interesting, including Daisy's markings. The author managed to create a dynamic between these three shifters in only thirteen thousand words that was believable.
Only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I wish it were longer and I wanted a little... more from the ending.
But I recommend this to anyone that loves shifters, especially hot cougars!

Sexy, sassy heroine. Hunky twins...shifter big cats! Eliza packed a lot of story and a lot of sexiness into this novella and I would highly recommend this to anyone that loves a good menage, a delicious shifter story and some fun characters that have terrific chemistry! She manages to make a winter storm something to look forward to with all of this hot snow melting sexiness!

This was a really good book. two hot alpha cats one sexy alpha female whats not to love? Oh, and the hot scenes? yeah they were H.O.T. I was entertained until the end, I am so hoping that we hear more about Seth,Daisy and Trent. You can't go wrong getting this book.

I was transported to the mountain with Seth, Trent & Daisy. The fun loving banter with the brothers keep things light and flowing. Daisy's Independence is trouble causing but keeps the guys on their paws. I was sad when I got to the end because I wanted more. Great read!

Warm up, sip some hot chocolate and watch the beautiful, quietness that only occurs when the town is under the fluffy blanket of snow. There is nowhere to go well..sort of!
In the sexy novella Frost Bitten by one of my favorite author, Eliza Gayle I was heated to the boiling point as I sipped my refreshing drink and fanned myself with the other hand. Whew!! Frost Bitten is a sizzling short read that I enjoyed tremendously. It contains all of my favorite story elements: peaceful setting, sexy plot, gorgeous shifters with mad skills and a beautiful, seductive woman with a backbone of steel and has the strength of someone twice her size. Daisy in her petite frame is fearless and plans to a force to deal with if an attack pops off.
Ms. Gayle writes about twin brothers Trent and Seth who are cougar shape shifters and with their keen sense of smell detected the heat of a young jaguar shifter, Daisy going through her cycle. Will these three get together to have a little something, something on this stormy, snowy night. Daisy is hard pressed to make it through yet another heat without a mate or the assistance of a male however Daisy is suffering in the worst way.
Trent and Seth are easy on the eyes with brown beards that emphasized their strong jawline, over six feet tall and shoulders of lumberjacks and bodies that I could envelope into and feel safe and warm...well honesty steaming hot.
Although Trent and Seth want to rock Daisy's world they would not manhandle her or rape her to satisfy their desires. The men kindly offered to provide her with outstanding service to eradicate her heat. If she can be persuaded to surrender to the offer of gratifying sensations she will not have to fight so hard controlling her desires and the three of them can groove all night long.
Trent and Seth were willing and capable of serving Daisy up a super size, delectable night of sexual fulfillment, exploration and enjoyment that promises to be an unbelievable menage. In all the body pulsations and physically challenging entanglements it was a wonder the snow on the roof did not melt and slide off. Daisy responds to Trent and Seth's sexy feast like a greedy customer at an open buffet. The men skillfully and patiently gives her more than she could have dreamed. Daisy, Trent and Seth possess awesome chemistry. Ms. Gayle uses the manner of respect the younger brother had for his older sibling which is a powerful element for me. The men honored each other and Daisy unselfishly sharing the feast spread out before them known as Daisy. The meeting of this menage in this small, secluded cabin in the mountains is one fired by an all-consuming lust.
Ms. Gayle's a style of writing engrosses me and never disappoints. Her vivid descriptions of the interaction between the environment, characters dialogue is so enticing. I could hear the sounds of the logs crackling in the fireplace and the smell of dinner and fragrances of arousal with powerful, sensuous animal instincts.
Although the intimate activities are the focal point in Frost Bitten I am still curious about what happened to the victims introduced in the beginning of the story.

Frost Bitten is a steamy little read.
I liked the character of Daisy, who is a jaguar shifter but she's also a game warden, a profession held primarily by men and she's no stranger to having to prove her worth in that area of her life. But she's being pressured by her brothers to find a mate and start a family. She decides to just escape to the mountains for a week long rest, though she's in heat and with each subsequent season without bonding, her pain increases.
Then you have Seth and his twin Trent, cougar shifters, and search and rescue workers who were hunting for a missing skier on the mountain. When the skier is found on another section of the mountain, Trent wants to head home but Seth knows there is someone else up there as they'd been following the scent throughout their search. But they know that with the snowstorm that's coming they need to find shelter and Seth knows of an abandoned cabin nearby ... or so he thought it was abandoned.
I have to say that I particularly liked Seth, out of the two brothers, more. Maybe because he's the alpha, I'm not sure. Though they both want to help Daisy with her suffering ... and not just by having sex with her, Seth refuses to act on his instincts without her permission. He was very caring and considerate toward Daisy but at the same time could be seductively persuasive when he knew what she wanted. ;)
About my only complaint is that I really wish that the story had been longer. Or that I could have gotten to know the characters a little more. In Daisy's case, she has an interesting past that you get to hear a little bit about but I would have loved more. Who knows, maybe there is more coming in another book that I'm just not aware of yet. In any case, I look forward to reading more from Eliza Gayle!

This was one really hot and sexy shifter novella! Seth and Trent are twins (not identical) that are in the woods doing search and rescue for a lost hiker before a snow storm. The scent that has been driving them however is not that of their missing hiker, but that of a jaguar female in heat. Daisy is sick and tired of everyone forcing her to find mate and settle down, so when she comes into heat she secludes herself in a cabin far up in the mountains away from everyone...or so she thought. When they meet, spontaneously combustible is the perfect description for these three! I really liked that Daisy was strong and feisty, and more so that she didn't just cave in right away. Even in the end she still wasn't going to just give up everything she was, and I admire that. Now the description of Trent and Seth will leave you in a puddle of goo at their feet! :) These two are really very sweet and totally irresistible, so it is no wonder Daisy gives into the heat. I loved most of all that they respected her and what she desires, which makes them top notch in my book. Overall a very deliciously sexy read, so if you enjoy shifters you don't want to miss out!

Daisy is looking for some peace in the cabin mountain but when Seth and Trent who are searching for a missing skier on the mountain come across her path peace and quiet are the last things on anyone’s mind. Being a shifter and in heat Daisy thought she would be safe so far up on the mountain but it seems fate has other ideas.
This was a great story filled with emotion. I adored Seth and Trent they are wonderful men. Even with the pull of Daisy’s heat they still are gentlemen and will do what ever Daisy wants or needs. Daisy is a strong woman who has always had to prove herself to everyone around her. It was nice to see her start to let her guard down with the two men. Watching their relationship blossom made for a great read. Not only is this book a hot read but it also gives the reader a wonderful romance. The characters were brought to life and their emotions were strongly felt making this a book that should be in everyone’s library.

This must have been the third time that I read this book and I'm still mesmerized by the vivid story telling and sexy setting. Unfortunately I found the ending a little bit lacking. I would have hoped to find out more about the whole mating situation as well as what they planned for their future and how that future looked like (I kind of hope and wish for a short sequel showing us the "future").
Anyways, a great short read for inbetween. And if you're currently snowed in and sitting in front of a crackling fire this is the story to read for you.

Seth and Trent work with search and rescue and also happen to be cougar shifters. They are on the trail of a lost hiker when they get the call that he's been find. So know they wonder what they've been tracking. When the come upon a sweet female jaguar shifter from the south that is freezing and in heat nature takes it course. But will Daisy be able to make this something special and lasting? It will certainly take some work.

I always hesitate to start another shift series. Even if I love the author, which in this case I do. The small taste into the lives of this group will leave you wanting to know more of how their life turns out so be ready to follow up on the rest of her shifter world. Short and sweet. A great fast read.

I loved this book! It was a sweet, funny and easy read. An oh so yummy read. Who wouldn't want to be rescued by the two sexy brother's Seth and Trent?! I really like Daisy. She was a little spitfire! The fun loving banter with the brothers keep things light and flowing. I was entertained until the end, I am so hoping that we hear more about Seth,Daisy and Trent.

This was a quick fun read about a jaguar in heat and twin cougars trying to help her out. She's trying to get through her heat without help. That why she left her family but no the fates of course send her fine twin cougars to help make her transition difficult. After all the twins are in search and rescue. Enjoy I did.

I was surprised that it was over when it was. I truly expected more to the story, which I think we will see in the future. But a great story all the same.

This was good I just wish it gave a little more. There were some inconsistencies with what was being said and what was "happening" but all in all a good quick read.

There was barely any plot, but this story was very erotic. It's about two cat shifter twin brothers and a female cat shifter in heat who they encounter. No imagination necessary to see what's next.
