I've been reading books with few or no Goodreads reviews, trying to find a winner. I bought this book on eBay from the cover and description, it was not cheap. This is the third book I've read on the dust bowl and I'd probably rank it third, but still worthwhile enough not to have gone out of print.
I can't recommend this over Steinbeck or Babb but I did enjoy the tale on its own.
