Basics of Developmentally Appropriate Practice

Rate this book
All early childhood educators need a solid understanding of developmentally appropriate practice. While the basic concepts of DAP aren't difficult or complex, they can be understood wrongly or incompletely—and often are! This engaging little book describes the core concepts and makes them meaningful to everyday practice for teachers of infants and toddlers. College instructors, directors, and trainers will find this an invaluable tool for introducing learners to the foundation of the early childhood field.

Full of cartoons. This is a super easy read but also a no-brainer for anyone who has taken a developmentally appropriate practice class.
