The Finishers

Rate this book
John Piper famously stated that “missions exists because worship doesn’t.” The Finishers begins with this premise and looks at the Great Commission as the means through which God has purposed to bring Himself glory from all nations and peoples. The everlasting joy of every person on earth hinges on this crucial mission.

Written by Cru staff members Roger Hershey and Jason Weimer, The Finishers paints a compelling picture of just how much potential this generation has in seeing this incredible mission finished, and what each individual Christ-follower must to do to be a part of it. Years of serving in ministry to college students has revealed to them just how much world-changing ability young people have, as well the obstacles that hold them back. The result is a book both visionary and practical, readable and applicable.

Inspiring book. Roger Hershey casts a vision for this generation, that they are the ones that may finish the world's story. And what does that mean for us? Taking action, standing up and being intentional about sharing God with those around us.

This book is full of lots of wisdom and truth, but could have been about 150 pages shorter.
