You ask a spectator to take a deck from its box, shuffle them himself, and choose a card. You go nowhere near the deck during this time. The spectator then shuffles their card back in to the deck so that their card is well and truely LOST. To be absolutely fair the spectator shuffles some more before placing them in to the card box. The spectator remains holding the box. You go nowhere near the box but you already know his card....! ¥ Use an ordinary deck ¥ No marked cards. ¥ No key cards ¥ No faked cards used. ¥ No gimmicked card case. ¥ No assistants. ¥ Spectator can remove the cards from the box and examine them. ¥ No duplicate cards.
